Shame on you.! The friendship and comraderie of the people on this thread is
what no doubt attracted you to it in the first place, just as it did for me.
Yes, it is a health and diet thread but more than that it has become a place for
friends to gather to discuss things that matter to them most in their daily
lives. I have a lot of time on my hands (DH is in Iraq for the 4th time since
9-11!!) and I came across this thread while researching answers to my own health
care concerns. The people on this thread have kept me entertained and
enlightened since I first stumbled in. I have commiserated with some,
celebrated with others and have taken comfort in the fact that on any given
Friday evening, I could turn on my computer and for the time being, not be
lonely. To have you suggest that they take their chat elsewhere because it
offends your Christian sensabilities -- well, it offends ME! I would guess that
this thread was here long before you were and would respectfully suggest that
the thread would be better served if YOU were to find another forum in which to
express yourself and your views. I say -- Long Live Friday Night Drunken
Trivia!! Thanks for listening.

This is your 1st post hon? And you chose to chew me out with it?

Nice to meet you. I think!

I'm sorry you're offended by me and my Christianity, but that's your problem not mine. I yam who I yam.

And FYI, I've been here with them, these people, and they are my friends. I don't even know you. So I'm not going anyplace just cause you don't like me.

So, if you have a problem with me, and the fact that I am a Christian and I share my views, then my dear, you'll either have to learn to deal with me, or not. Your choice.

I pray your hubby is safe in Iraq.
And welcome to the group.

I would think that the majority of people would take no offense to being asked to take their "racier" banter elsewhere for a little while on a Friday evening. The people involved have not come on and attacked MG and I don't think they will. If they did I would have to rethink my staying in a thread with people like that.

IMHO-If you want to come in and attack someone-use your real ID, don't make up a fake one to hide behind.

Ahhhhh Kathy,

You know, I didn't even think about that. Someone MADE UP a name to come in here and blast me and they are someone who is known by another name on this board????? WOW!

And here I thought this was a Newbie. Goodness, I am too trusting!

Thank you Kathy for standing up for me.

Ok people I have to say something. Lets not get the drama started in this thread period. All that post here everyday are family. We have gotten to know one another and express one another's feelings and share each other lives. I dont want anyone going anywhere. I was involved in the stuff last night and I dont want anyone to get upset over the whole thing. I mean we are adults we are not teenagers. So the drama dont need to start cause well it ruins threads and it ruins friendships. debida- Im not sure who you are but MG is welcome to her opinion and response as much as anyone else even you. We are all different people and that is what makes the world go around. If we werent then be a boring place.
We are all family in this thread. And do not attack someone you have not gotten to know like everyone on here has with each other. To me this thread is a friendship sharing thread that talks from anywhere about depression, poop issues, kids issues, funtimes, and anythng that pops in our head. Thats what friends do is share.

Hello all. I apologize (I haven't been keeping up with this thread) but need to ask about the liquid CLA. I read somewhere on this thread that the liquid is going to be discontinued and was wondering what product everyone who uses it is converting to. I see that the liquid is still for sale at this time but thought I'd check since I need to place an order soon.
MountainGirl, I'm down to 176 too! Great feeling, isn't it?!!
Thanks all for your help.

If you don't have the guts to say your peace and be accountable for your words, then you have nothing worthwhile to say. That is an act of cowardice!

I am an Oooopsie Convert!

I've tried and tried to make Oooopsies but they just had an "eggy" taste and fragile texture.

But tonight I saw Lisa's version, she uses mayo and adds flax seed and I thought I would try it again.

So, I used whole milk ricotta (instead of the cream cheese) 2 TB golden flax seed meal and I left out the sweetener and added garlic powder.

I baked these for 40 minutes and they were good. I ate 2!!

So, thanks Lisa, I think I'm an Oooooopsie Convert!!!

Lisa - The goobers.

Marsha - I messed up last night, too. Our friends picked DH and I up and drove 40 minutes to where they were taking us for dinner and you will never guess where it was -- Sonic! We don't have Sonics here, and when we took our friends on vacation at the Outer Banks, NC, we went to a Sonic there. They were surprising us......and I was all ready for a big juicy steak. Oh well, I had my steak tonight.

My friend on another thread is doing great with losing weight and I swear every 1/2 pound she loses, I gain! It has been going like this for several days and I told her to stop losing weight! (Just kidding.) Seriously though, I am really happy for her but it is an odd coincidence that the same amount she loses I am gaining each day.

You guys/gals were chatty! I came back tonight and had 6 pages to read. It was all good though as I was asking DH the trivia questions and he was answering.

Trish - How nice having a hot tub. I have a cold tub. No, really, I have a swimming pool...not much fun in this weather.
