Michele- Hey! Im ok. We had some major storms here. Lots of damage all around but thankfully my house survived. Daughter and I slept in hallway with the dogs all night. House was shaking and you could hear the winds. They said around us was 119mph winds. Neighbors huge tree was uprooted and laying across their porch. Friend of mine was near the place that blew up from gas leak issue, they were asking for all the help they could get there.

I did callanetics early yesterday and I hurt from head to toe, that and sleeping maybe 2 hrs from storms I am worn out. ( Im petrified of storms)
I actually gained 3 lbs as of this morning. But I was told callanetics does that for a bit to heal your muscles. So Im taking it in stride and hoping it tones me.

I have to be honest but Im going thru some real issues right now and kinda in a loss slump in my mind so I just been trying to cope.

Thanks for asking about me and I am glad your daughter is safe too. Was a terrible night for all of us around here.

ADLMA - Bloomsburg is about 1.5 hours north of me. I'm about 6 miles from Harrisburg. I don't think there is a whole lot of places to go in Bloomsburg. My DD's friend went to Bloomsburg University.

MMof2 - the University must be near my sister.

Lil - Sounds like I need to check on my aunt and uncle who also live in Tenn. I am so happy you are OK. I am very sorry for the damage around you!

MG - You needed to find out exactly where you are. Too few cals. make you gain weight just as much as too many. Like on Biggest Looser last night -- the black team admitted to eating as few as 500 cals. The lost nothing. Then Jillian made them eat, and they all lost 5 pounds or more for the week. You had to know where you stood with your in take. I can't count either! I did WW and gained weight. I count and recoun my intake just to make certain I counted right. Then, I would eat less points that required, to make sure I did not go over. You had to count it all up to know where you stood. Now, you can tweak. I have to say, I am shocked that what you ate added up to over 2,000! Now, you can tweak. I am praying for ya. On the other hand, you lost all kinds of pounds eating as you have been, perhaps you need to eat something to shock your body into moving again. My sister hit a loooong plateu. She said, "forget it" and ate exactly what she wanted for one day. Got on the scale the next day, and she was 5 pounds lighter. Maybe your bod is ready for a shock!

Will be tracking down a measuring tape and starting this weekend.

I'll also be starting atkins this weekend as I'm finally done with that horrible nutrisystem albatross.

buvy - I did Nutrisystem as well. I did the weekend off one. I did great during the week, but met the weekend starving, so I ate the house. The meals bother my stomach also. Talk about processed. . .that stuff is not frozen or anything, yet it can be in room temperature forever! Yikes! I think you will be much more happy with Atkins! I wish you well!

My mom only lost 3 pounds on nutrisystem and bought several months worth of meals. She spent a lot of money for those 3 pounds. Now my girlfriend is doing nutrisystem, but I don't want to discourage her. I hope it works for her. I would much rather eat real food though.

buvy.

I hope it works for her too. My sister's, sister-in-law did it and lost 25, which is all she wanted to lose. I guess it might work for someone. . .not me.

I must admit, I have been back on the combo for 2 weeks. . .auhm not so much feeling my all purpose strethc pants being loser!!! I am freaking out. I have eaten clean, exercised, and big ole nothing!

Cabbage soup diet did nothing for me. I think I am going to have to go back to The UltraSimple Diet. That worked, once I started the combo.

Hi!
292 this morning. HELL YEAH!! Goin' down. Gimme the 280's.
My arms have been sore all day from doing upper body Monday. They ought to feel better by Friday when I have to do upper body again. I have to do lowerbody tonight. I should breeze right through that.

Food so far today...
Breakfast, 2 sausage, egg, and cheese muffins.
Lunch, 1 pork steak and 1 cup of sugarfree jello
snack, 2 sausage, egg, & cheese muffins.
Not sure about dinner yet. I'll cross that bridge when I find it.

I just noticed this morning that my chest is looking smaller. Maybe I'm seeing things. Maybe I'm not. Either way it made me feel better about myself today. I forgot all about the feel my self up thing. That was funny.

Alright, gotta go work the legs.

I am sure she is coming your way, she can't stay with mikki and I forever right?......or can she??????(insert evil smiling devil here)
I just need her until April, so as long as you keep sending her here!!
I am SO tired today, but have NO appetite. I did force myself to eat today. It took over an hour tofinish my salad at lunch I wasn't going to eat dinner, but thought I have been doing so well, I don't want to mess it up
I have to admit, I am eating like 4 oopsies a day which is a nice treat and no stall so it must be ok for now.

Menu today was pretty much same as day before yesterday:

B- BET sandwich with mayo on oopsies

L- Huge spinach salad with cucumber, tomato, ham, feta, and hard boiled egg topped with ranch dressing of course!

D- Cheeseburger with mayo, mustard and tomato on oopsies

I am stuffed which is cool! I also have not craved any sweets this time around??? Maybe due to I took out all frankenfoods???

freeing... check this out copied from another thread

Question:
What would be so bad eating almost all of them in 1 day?
It's just 3 eggs (most people eat that at breakfast)
And 3 oz. cream cheese (3 oz cheese allowed w/Atkins)
the way i see it it can't hurt you in any way so enjoy!!

phil wtg on the loss buddy
wtg on the workouts.. need to get one in myself soon

and my friends

Freeing - on being down to 166! You are smokin'!

Phil - Good going on your exercise and being prepared with your foods. I'm cheap, too, and I used to pack my food for the week when I worked and cart it in and keep it in the refrigerator. I only would get lunch out maybe once every 3 months. I saved all the money I would spend for lunch and used it toward my girls' college education.

MG - Thinking of you this morning because I had a protein shake in the blender, but I forgot to put flax in it. I took another tablespoon of the lemon flavored emulsified cod liver oil and . I don't know if I am going to be able to keep doing that. The good Drs. Eades recommended it in their Protein Power LifePlan book, but I was about to vomit after I put it in my mouth.

I hope everyone has a great day.

Eats for the day:

B - coffee w/carb coundown milk; whey protein shake
L - Not sure yet - maybe ham and cheese on a wrap
D - Hot wings and celery and blue cheese. Yummers!
Thanks Michelle, I appreciate the compliments. I know, I am too hard on myself. But I will definitely keep on trying. I like to decorate cakes, try different ideas out.
