Did you all see the commercial where everyone was like bobbleheads..i think it was a pepsi commercial...i rolled when i saw it....and the screaming animals that was funny too...well we did do alot of screaming yesterday too........i wanted the Pat's to win and took the loss graciously.....both teams played an awesome game. I'm from back east so it's not that bad of a loss since I have NY connections too! What an exciting game!!
Well are you ALL sitting??? I would like to share the first peice of exciting news since i joined this thread. Back in 2003 when i started atkins i lost 23 lbs in the first 3 months. After that i couldn't push past a certain weight. On that scale I thought I was 240. So then i got off atkins for a few years only eating LC once in a while cuz my dad was sick. When he passed I didn't care about anything. In March 2007 I started back with atkins and by my bday in June I had lost 35 lbs. By August I had lost 45 lbs and according to the scale I had gotten down to 220. Then I jumped back up 20lbs and lost 8 during the first challenge on support unlimited. I gained that back right before christmas and managed to lose it again after the holidays. Since then i have been bouncing up and down about 6lbs. Yesterday I was up. Now lets go back to the 220 +20lbs. I found out that my scale was 30 lbs off. My scale was 30 lbs LIGHTER. So knowing i was either over or close to 300 didn't sit too well with me. So i calculated what I had weighed originally by adding the 30 lbs to my original weigh in weight. and then subtracted 30 because i DID lose 30 and that left me 278 going into the first SU challenge, which i was able to get to 272. i've been struggling the last few weeks with those 6 dang lbs, AGAIN. Ok..back to yesterday. I was up 4 lbs to 276. I had to weigh in today for SU and so I figured ok i will weigh again today and take the lesser of the two weigh ins. SO i got on the scale all ready to take my second defeat in two days.......AND the scale said 269. The weight i couldn't get past even with my other scale was 270. Which i thought was 240. I thought i was seein' things this morning. I am so excited I don't know what to do first.......... ![]() ![]() ![]() I hope that made sense........I'm off and runnin'......150 here i come!!!!!!! I think I may be off on my starting weight overall so i am guesstimating that i was either over 300 or just under 300 by 5 lbs when i found the 30 lb mistake by the scale.........at any rate i will take the gain and say that overall I am now at 26lbs total loss. So i am still 4 lbs away from my 30 but I'm happy. PHEW! If any of that didn't make sense PLEASE let me know!!! Thanks for listening, HELLO to everyone and talk to you ALL later!!!!!

morning everyone!!
Thanks free on the menu, looks great. I had to stop the rolls they made me gain and stall. Anyway, my menu for today is: B: egg,3 bacon, 1/2 slice cheese S: 1 flax made with banana extract and a coconut oil bark thing L: 3 oz chicken with pepper jack & salsa topping,1/2 cup mixed snow peas and broccoli D: tilapia with salad or green beans No change in weight. Not sure why my body fighting losing so much lately. Not taking the combo for a few days to see if it shakes stall. Gratz Tom and Free on losses. I will be starting callanetics on Wednesday and doing some weight lifting and cardio. I have to watch weights cause I can bulk up fast. I was upset last night I think I see a varicose vein and Im upset about it. ![]() Oh well off to do some work.

Congrats Tom, and Free..... Wooo Hoooooo ![]() Nothing to new to report, have 5 inches of fresh snow this am...i tell ya that groundhog.....ummmmm * looking for gun* lol i dont want 6 more weeks of winter. I am back to being really strict this week..... so here we go....B- 1 piece of wheat toast S- HB egg L- 2 armadillo eggs, and cottage cheese S- peparoni slices D- nothin 1 1/2 gal of water a day! and a lil bit of coffee in the am! I am excited too, i came up with a new recipe: 1 wheat tortilla, get some spinich dip ( low carb i cant remember the name of it ) cut a lil bit of onion, bacon bits, tomato, and low carb thin sliced turkey and a bit of cheese. spread the dip on the tortilla, put other stuff in it and Whalah!!! yummy lc burrito. I will try it tomorrow and let ya know how it was. I did cheat yesterday with a few scoops chips. OOPS! but i made LC dip does that even things out?? ![]() ![]() 1/2 brick of cream cheese, cut up green onion, tomato, bacon bits, and a lil bit of mild salsa, mix well and dip... OMG it was so good my 13 yo ate 90% of it. LMAO anyways i will bbl.... have a great day!

Afternoon Y'all!
I am still at 177 (sans bedclothes) so I know I'm doing OK. I am one pound BELOW my lowest weight since 2001 (even including my chemotherapy) and 7 pounds to my lowest weight in 25 years (my marriage weight). I wish I could lose these 7 pounds by next week so on our 25th wedding anniversary, I would weigh what I weighed on our our wedding day, but alas, I can't lose (nor do I really want to lose) 7 pounds in one week. I'd end up in the hospital for sure!! Slow and sure means healthier long-term results!Lucki: WHAT AN AWESOME STORY! Whooooo Hoooooooooooooooo!!! Sorry! I was rather excited this morning about it...guess my thoughts were all over too!! Long and short of it is .....i had a defective scale that was off by 30 lbs. When i found out about it I had lost 30 lbs but the scale said 220 but it was really 250. So i had to adjust my starting weight and all....anyway.......i was constantly getting stuck at 240 when i thought it was 240 but it was really 270 and so i've been stuck at 270 for some months now going up and down between 270 and 276 or 278. today i pushed through the 270! Sorry for the confusion......

It feels good, doesn't it?!Feeing - Hooray on being down again, today. I hope you get some rest tonight and that the potty training sticks this time around. Tom - Good luck on finding a Wii...we haven't found one yet. My DH (Jeff) even got up early and waited outside Circuit City who had them in their sales flyer last weekend...nope, none to be found. I hope you find one. Congrats, also, on the weight loss this month. Guys and gals, I have not lost this month and even gained. I started at 207 and I am ending at 208. Ugh. I have started lifting free weights and have done callanetics twice (need to work on doing this more) and I also want to begin walking on the treadmill. DH and I walked outside yesterday. Unfortunately, I think the lack of weight loss may be female hormone related. I had 6 vials of blood taken this morning and I am assuming the doc ordered lots of tests. Once he gets my results, I will go in for an appt. I'm not giving up, but I am frustrated.

Lucki.....I was a bit confused at first too but I understand it now with the second explanation. Sorry it doesn't take much to confuse me.....Anyway, that is very great news! I'm really happy to hear how happy you are. Keep up with all your hard work. I know you are really motivating people all around you! Everybody! Not happy today! Chiro cleared me for the elliptical Fri so I did 35 min-was okay Fri and Sat then started hurting more and more yesterday. So today he said no elliptical for another week He already stopped my cardio kickbox class, what else can I do??? <<me throwing a fit! I just feel lethargic with no exercise. Mikki-I just noticed we're pretty much the same on our weight and goals! Let's get there real quick!! Well, haven't been paying attention to the time-"Mom Taxi" is supposed to be heading down the road already!!! ![]() Later! ![]() ![]()

Trish- Max is also 2 1/2. I put "big boy" undies on him...NO diapers and ask him every 10 minutes or more if he has to go. He has now started "getting" the idea. It is still hard for him to break away from things if we are busy, but we went to Ryan's tonight(which I did well at) and he went 2 times while there and came home dry. He also went before bed. I try to make sure I take him when he first gets up in morning and from his nap and before he lays down too. It's an awful lot of work to keep up, but today was great!
MG- I will post more menus as I make them. For dinner tonight is changed since I ended up going out and I had steak, green beans and a quarter of a sweet potato with cinnamon. It was delish!! I honestly put the whole T of coconut oil in my mouth and down it with something to drink. It's quick and painless I can't really think of ways I want to add it into things other than eggs in the morning, but then my eggs are really oily![]() Mikki- I will make sure we kick off any plateaus so you keep going straight downhill!! I also have about 28lbs to go!!Justachic- How old is your son?? Michele- Thank you I definately plan on going to bed early if I can...its hard with DH gone though. I really hope they figure out what is the matter with you!! Maybe your weight went up because of the weight training? Keep your chin up!! ![]() jimzgrl- Maybe jus focus on walking and keeping your abdominals in tight as you do. Really focus on breathing and lengthening your stride if you can. Maybe light lunges or squats? Nothing to jarring, but things that will move your body? K- night all!! ![]()

My weight went up over the weekend. I was 298 this morning.
When I got to work and took my blood pressure medicine I relized that I didn't take my BP medicine yesterday. It has a dieretic(sp?) in it which makes me go to the restroom allot. Well, I went to the restroom allot today. After working out I weighed myself at 295 so I dropped 3 pounds over the day.I had my mind set all day that when I got home from work I was going to lift. I went right to the basement and started. It felt good to work my muscles like that again. I might pay for it tomorrow, but thats a price i am willing to pay. Cardio tomorrow morning! I hope I get up in time.
