Morning Y'all!

Happy Saturday!

Marsha:
Whoooo hooooo to yooooooou!! Great going girl!

ThyckeCutie: Yeah, track your measurements, it will give you a boost!

I am still at 179, so I'm happy. I'm so tired of bouncing back up into the 180s.

I am being taken out for lunch at a Thai restaurant and I'll get veggie stir fry and chicken. It usually has a lot of soduim though, so I hope I don't gain.

Grocery shopping today (1st of the month, whooppie!) and it'll be nice to have some fresh salads again.

Hi to everyone!!!!! Have a great day.

Hmmm been doing some research on CLA being an unhealthy trans fat. This is from Udo Erasmus site and I have his Omega 3-6-9 Oil Blend and have been trying to find a way to take it-can't stand the taste.

"Conjugated linoleic acid, or CLA, has attracted a lot of attention over the past few years. Many claims for benefits have been made-from enhancing weight loss and providing antioxidant protection to treating diabetes and cardiovascular disease. But is CLA all it's cracked up to be?

Conjugated linoleic acid is one or more of 8 possible twisted trans fatty acids created from linoleic acid, also known as n-6 essential fatty acid (EFA). In nature, the conversion of linoleic acid into CLA occurs naturally in the stomachs of cows, goats, sheep and other cud-chewing animals; accordingly, CLA is found in the meat and milk fat of these species. Butter, for example, normally contains about 5 mg of CLA per gram of fat.

CLA is also sold in supplement form. To achieve this, n-6 fatty acids are processed, during which the original molecular structure of the fat is twisted into a different shape. The result is called a trans fat, and as more and more people are becoming aware, trans fats do not have the same desirable effects on health as essential fatty acids. In fact, CLA interferes with the conversion of EFAs (both n-6s and n-3s) to derivatives necessary for hormone production.

CLA is not essential. Unlike n-3s and n-6s, without which we cannot live, we could live healthfully on a CLA-free diet our entire life.

The body has no requirement for CLA. But the body has an absolute requirement for EFAs, which should not be interfered with."

But here's another article on the perks of CLA
Conjugated Linoleic Acid for weight loss: it's no magic diet pill

Very interesting stuff!

Humm tummy all the sudden upset this morning now. Wonder if its the EVOO and lemon acting up on me. Kinda feel nauseated. Been about 2 hrs since i took though. Took my cla/gla about 45 mins later wonder if the 2 dont mix. Very nauseated right now.

Phil- Gratz on loss, guess the cream cheese was your culprit. And I agree Im ready for spring!!

Lil - When I was using it, I took it as soon as I got out of bed (the EVOO), then, in about 1/2 hour, I took the combo. The first 2 or 3 days, I felt a bit . Then, I felt great every morning after it all. Try to give it 2 or 3 days, if you still feel ill or don't see a positive result, if you know what I mean, drop it!

cONGRATZ to the losers!

Trisha and Lucki....hope you gals have a better day today.

Useless and Drunk Trivia was fun last night, although it might have been a little more fun for me had I actually been drinking something!

Yesterday was my rest day but today....I'm Back in the Saddle Again!
Think I'll do a full body workout today and if I have anything in me left over, I'll do that wicked cardio machine that I seem to only do for 10 minutes! You know the one that makes you look like Spider Man climbing? It's my goal to kick it's butt so it won't kick mine anymore. LOL

Have a great day guys! Will check back later.....

I take the lc Fuze drinks-my favorites are cranberry raspberry and strawberry melon and add vodka of choice. The tropical punch ones taste too sweet for me. They have about 2 carbs per serving. I really enjoyed them this week when I had a cold and they contain Vitamin C and chromium. Hey-a healthy lc martini! If you go to their website they have 50 cents off coupons and my local grocery had them on sale for $1 so I got them 50 cents a bottle!

LOL! Sounds good!

Well, looks like my basement wall has a nice bow in it that will have to be repaired soon. I have 2 big penn oak trees about 17 foot from my house. I think the roots are pushing against my basement wall. I'll have to call a contractor Monday and see about getting this fixed. I can't have the man cave filling up with dirt! Ain't life grand? If it isn't one thing it's another.

Other then that, it's been a good day!

Y'all are having way too much fun while I am at work
I stopped the oopsie rolls, and switched to the flax buns. Love em !! But I am still not losing. Stuck around 203-205. All I drink is water, cut out all the diet sodas. I don't understand why I can't lose this time

ThyckeCutie, we tried it before and yes it works as well. Its oily like the liquid cla is now though, but I can't remember what it tastes like. I have to use the chocolate calorie control milk to get my last cla down so I'll do the same for the ThinFat. I don't want to start taking the cla pills, I like the liquid better.

MG, Thanks. Things with my daughter are better "for now". That girls gonna worry me into an early grave *sighs*. Congrats on 179 !!!

lucki, awwww I am so sorry. I didnt mean to leave you out. My heads been in a fog the last few days

Lauren, taking the cla with protein is recommended to prevent the queezies. You did good . Congrats on the 111 !!!

Marsha...woohoo on the 184 !!! I'm jealous !! Love the new av

Hi Mikki !!!

Congrats to everyone who lost

Good to see you on Trisha!!

I had to cut out the cream cheese pretty much and i only do half flax. I am doing a cleaner induction pretty much with a few extra vegs. The CO and cream cheese evidentially was bringing my weight up.

I really think my problem is not eating enough and not exercising. I am so tired all the time and I just don't feel like eating or doing anything. I had steel cut oatmeal for breakfast today, and I just don't feel like eating again

Yea , I have a time making sure I eat enough calories. Really weird to make sure you eat a larger number of calories instead smaller lol. All those years of low fat stick in your head. I am going to start callanetics next week when i get my dvd in and turbo jam. I gotta get up and moving.
