Thanks Kathy and Lucki!
Speaking of new avatars...I sure would like to see a new pic of Phil besides the one that Paula found! C'mon!!!

Okay, so today I'm going to weigh myself at the gym. Hopefully I've done as well as some of you peeps. If I did, that means I'm that much closer and I'll be researching my reward that we talked about a while back. I saw a couple of girls with color streaks in their hair and they looked really cute. Although they were blonds and MUCH younger than me, I thought it would be fun for a little bit. Plus I bet my kids would enjoy it....I hope!

A big good luck to those weighing in today and congratz to you guys whose teams won yesterday!

To everyone, A thru Z.

Good Morning everyone, hope your weekend was great! I worked and have today and tomorrow off for my weekend. Planning on doing some cooking and hopefully get in a walk or two if it warms up. If not need to dust off the treadmill. I am still at 212..... but my pants are fitting better. I knew after the water dropped off then the real weight loss would be slower.

Keep up the good work!!!!!!!!

Thanks, Lucki. I did gain 4.5 pounds with the meds, and it is slow coming off. I guess I should be happy it was only 4.5 pounds, but I am such a slow loser that it will take me forever to get that 4.5 off. I just lost .5 of it this morning...I hope it sticks.

Chic - I love your new avatar! You are so very pretty.

Afternoon Combo peeps! Just got the best compliment from my department head this morning-we were on our way to the Monday morning meeting and she said I was looking skinny today! I have on a black/red sweater combo I haven't worn in about 2 1/2 years with black slacks and no back boobies!!! Muffin top disintegration is definitely in the works also!

Michele...Thank you and I'm so glad everything is ok with your MIL!

I had a great workout today. I did 3 miles- total of 45 minutes on the tread mill, walking and running, then hit the weights for back muscles. I can't encourage you guys enough, those that can, to get your exercise in. My endorphins are kickin!
Some good news....I'm 13 lbs from goal!

Hi everyone. Just jumping in. I have not been on since it was decided to do one long thread, instead of a monthly thread. Shew! It was a lot of reading. Lots of new folks! Lots of Big Fat Loosers! Congratulations everyone!!!!

Trish and Tom - your house looks great! I hope you got the re-fin! I did a re-fin way back when on my house. It has a formal and an informal dining room. The dude comented, "Who needs two dining rooms? I don't know what I'll do with that." He appraised it higher than we expected! Don't worry if the guy likes the wood thing or not! We do!

MG - You are an inspiration in so so many ways! You look great! I know you must be so very proud of yourself! I kept jotting down your recipes. Now, I can't read them. I think you need the MG Recipe Thread! I love baking too, but avoid it, as it is full of carbs. I too bake on yuck days. If you ever get down again, drop me a line I'll lift you up! Did you say you home educate?

MG - I know you said your weight loss has been slow going. Child, do you know a diatrition. It does not look like you eat enough! Once when I did WW, I ate too little and gained weight! . . .just a thought. Please don't get offended.

I've been wondering about you Trisha! In fact I was just about to send out a search and rescue team to look for you. Sorry you're in a funk right now. What could we do to make you laugh? If nothing else, just remember that you are a beautiful woman, inside and out! Very caring and a lot of fun. Don't forget how special you are.....

Thanks chic . I be alright . I just get in these moods sometimes but I get over it quick. Its nothing anyone has done, its just the moon-child (Cancer) in me that makes me moody. I was so close to leaving the 200's and it got snatched back away from me and was so disappointing.

Beginning CLA/GLA today!!

Okay everyone! My Netrition order came today! Yay! So today is DAY ONE of CLA/GLA! I've been losing very slowly but surely for the past two weeks (down five lbs.), but I was up two today thanks to a NAUGHTY day yesterday. But I'm back on track today! I feel pretty good about the loss given that I have done NO EXERCISE for about three weeks. My business stuff is going crazy right now, but I plan to go to the gym tomorrow while my daughter is in art class.

I will be taking my 1/2 tbsp. of CLA and 2 borage tablets with lunch (chicken breast on 2 cups of mixed greens with olive oil/vinegar dressing, parmesan cheese). I figured the chicken breast would be enough protein for taking the dosage (at least I hope so!)

Wish me luck, and here's luck and losses to all of you!

Rene'

Oh Trisha...don't count out us Pisces for the "Moody Award." I'm ready to scream today....ARGH!

I SO understand your frustration with the "200 Hump." I haven't been under 200 for about eight years. I WAS 240 and got down to 213 with low carb and walking daily. That plateau stuck for three years. I managed to get down to 201 last summer with South Beach, and I was jumping up and down that I JUST MIGHT MAKE IT to 199!! How awesome would that be?? And then we moved to California from Virginia. The stress of the move - back to 213. I always feel like if I'm at 213, at least I'm back where I started when I stopped losing the first go around. Then over the holidays - up to 220.

So it was back on low carb after New Year's Day - and I was back to 213 on Sunday morning. Then I had to have three Taco Bell tacos at lunch yesterday and a plate of four pancakes with SF syrup at IHOP with friends last night - up 2 lbs. today.

It seems sometimes like 199 will NEVER come. But I know I've got to hold out hope, and I have hope for you, too! You and I will make it!

HUGS!
Rene'

Thanks Rene' , I'm glad y'all understand and don't think its something you did. I'm just a lil over anxious since we plan to go to Florida soon and I really want to lose some noticable weight before then . But instead of sitting here whining , I'm going to go do the ab lounger workout and maybe the treadmill. Tom did the treadmill for 45 minutes today , Yay Tom !!!

Your right...We can do it

Hey Trisha,

Listen hon, I am Queen of the funks and let me tell you, pulling back does not help! Come here and let us love on you and encourage you!!!

You know that this road is full of ups and downs, physically and emotionally and we are all here to help one another during the hard times and rejoice with each other in the victories.

That's what I posted last week, we all are not gonna post "RAH RAH" posts every day, especially when we're struggling, but just like a SUPPORT group, we are here for you whether you're on top of the world or in a funk.

<singing in the background> "We are family"... whooo whooo whoooo!

Just remember the encouraging words from the Bible...."THIS TOO SHALL PASS"!

Hang in there darlin'! We love you!
