WOE: still figuring it out!
Start Date: Everyday, over and over and over......
Everyones pics are so great!! You are all so pretty!

MG-I have told my dsh before that I think I have body dysmorphic disorder. I just still see the old me when I look in the mirror. I really need to take some new pictures of myself, maybe that will make the difference?
I wanted to tell you too, when you posted the thank you to me the other day I thought maybe you were mistaken on who had posted something Then I finished reading and figured out what was going on!! It took me a long time too, to realize that losing the weight slow wasn't the worst thing that could happen, NOT losing the weight at all was the worst. And I was losing! We can get to our goal, we just need to believe in ourselves!!(oh, and my "back boobs" are going away too!!!)
NOW YOU JUST STAY IN REMISSION LADY! DO YOU HEAR ME!!!!
Have fun with your guests! I love having a full house-maybe that's why I had 6 kids?? Can't wait for LOTS of grandkids!!

Okay my accountability for the day-
60 min yoga, 10 min @4 mph/treadmill, still going to do 30 min weights on stablility ball.
B-tea w/cream, LC custard
L-crackslaw
S-don't know yet
D-grilled chicken diced over romaine w/cucumbers, onion and avocado-creamy italian dressing

Off to do my weights now. You all be good now and quit picking on Phil!!

Kathy

Nothing yet. he said it would take 4-5 days so I dont expect to hear anything until next week *sighs*. Glad you had a nice visit with your friend. I have very few friends, but the ones I have are long time true friends. I dont get to spend as much time with them as I would like though. When we go to Florida, we plan to meet my oldest friend from grade school for lunch. She moved there last year and isnt too far from Toms parents.

Good evening.

MG - Those garlic and cheese flax rolls sound good. I may have to give those a try soon. Thanks for sharing the recipe with us.

Trish - I so wish I had a country line dance tape to exercise with! Where did you get yours? Was it a homemade tape? I hate exercising but I love to dance.

Chic - I am so happy you had a nice visit with your friend. 9-11 is a day I will never forget as long as I live.

Kathy - I didn't know what crack slaw was until earlier this week, when I finally emailed my friend (she is on LCF site, too) and asked her what the heck crack slaw is. She at me and couldn't believe I didn't know what it was. She then emailed me the recipe. I love that gal.

I made the chicken thighs for dinner and Cabbage and Sausage Stuffing (I halved the recipe since it was just DH and I and I used a 2 qt. caserole dish). Here is the recipe. . . it was really good:

Sausage Stuffing

1 pound sausage -- seasoned
2 large onions -- finely chopped
3 stalks celery -- finely chopped (3 to 4)
2 tablespoons butter -- (2 to 4)
1 head cabbage -- finely chopped
15 ounces chicken broth -- canned
3 eggs -- beaten
Seasonings

How To Prepare: This has all the taste of real
stuffing, without the bread. You won't miss the bread
and can "stuff" yourself as much as you like.

Saute your onion and celery in the butter. Add sausage,
brown, crumbling the sausage finely. Let the oils
and butter brown on the bottom of the pan to get that
great carbonation flavor. Add seasonings you like
such as thyme, oregano, pepper, salt, to taste. My
sausage was preseasoned, so I just added pepper. Add
cabbage and continue cooking. Add chicken broth
to moisten as dish starts to get dry. I ended up using a
whole can. Cook until cabbage is cooked and
tender. Put in a 3-4 qt baking dish and add the
eggs. Bake in 350 degree oven for 20-30 minutes.
Actually we didn't have an oven when I made this and
we cooked ours in the microwave for five minutes.
You may need to adjust some things to get it the
way you like dressing.

Thanks, Trish. I'll have to look them up. Have a good night at work.

Don't know when or if I will check in tomorrow. I will be taking MIL to the hospital for some tests (her heart is enlarged and she is short of breath).

Have a good evening everybody.

Bitter cold in the single digits coming this weekend yikes !!! Isnt that silly the first mention of snow the stores get wiped out lol. How much longer do you have to do the chemo??? Have fun with your friends. Sounds like a good time coming . The pics arent showing for me

chic, Phils been around for awhile and he has a very good sense of humor . Have a nice visit with your friend

Marsha, I'm with you there *shudders* at speedos !! That was a visual I did NOT need . Reminds me of another story...(TMI Warning !!!) when my daughter was young, a friend and I took her and my friends nephew to the public pool. we went to the kiddie pool and were sitting on the edge watching the kids. My friend leaned over and said OMG, look across the pool. I did, and OMG there was an adult man sitting on the other side of the pool with his legs wide open and his sack hanging in the water !!! ew ewww ewwwww !!! He had to have been a perv doing that in the kiddie pool. No way did he not know his jewels were dangling with that cold water lapping at them !!!

Deanna, don't you love it when people loved the "dreaded" LC foods? lol.

Dani, I remember those days. My vacation started when the kids ended and they went back to school lol. On the western shirts, just do a search for mens western shirts and his size and save the search, you will get e-mail updates when some are added. Or do a search for wrangler, panhandle slim, roper and different western shirt brands. If I think of any more, I'll let you know

Lisa, thats called backfat , and I agree, this combo really got rid of that for me last time, I was amazed !!

Michele, I'm with your hubby, I only like white meat. We used to have a Coyotes here years ago, and me and my friends went and took line dance lessons too. It was so much fun and such great exercise. They got caught selling booze to minors with fake ID's and had to close . What I liked was most people were there to dance (not to get drunk, except the youngins) and most were drinking water. Some of those dancers were like Dancing with the stars !!

Oh yeah !!! I have been telling my friends at work all about low carbing. They can't believe what I'm eating. I eat soooo good. I got most of my receipes from this website. Take care and have a good evening.

Evening Y'all!

Checking in before I retire and go watch CSI. (my FAV show!)

Michele: I pray you MIL gets a good report. Please let us know how she's doing.

Deanna: Thank you for your kind words about my pics!

Kathy: Yeah, it REALLY helps to post the pictures, or at least upload them to your picture site. Some people use PhotoBucket, but I like Flickr. Both are free and you can make them private to where only YOU can see the pictures. OR, you can share them here with all of us. It really helps the BDD.

Here's what I had to eat today and I'm done for the day:

Breakfast:
Whey Protein shake w/ organic flax seeds

Lunch:
Organic raw baby spinach
Roasted wild salmon
Sour cream
olives

Snack:
Golden Flax muffin and organic butter

Supper:

Oriental stir fry veggies and organic ground beef

Snack:
Whey Protein Shake w/ organic flax seeds

G'night all!
Our friends are coming tomorrow evening and spending the weekend with us!
And YES Deanna, the noise is much different!

hello ~ newbie here.

I just got home with my CLA/GLA combo from wal-mart and I'm excited to start it tomorrow! I just wanted to check with you experienced folk and make sure I've got the right stuff and the right plan to take it, etc.

Here's what I got:
Spring Valley Borage Oil 500 mg softgels

The CLA was under the "C's" and is labeled as CLA. The brand is Rexall, but it says Tonalin off to the side as well so I'm pretty sure it's the same stuff.
Those are 1000 mg softgels

As far as I understand it I should take 5 of the CLA and 2-4 of the GLA.
With food.

Thanks in advance for your help. I hope this is the right place to post my questions!
