Trish, can you share the meatloaf receipe with us. That sounds good.
The individual size would be great to have in the freezer. Just take out what you need. I appreciate it.

I'm THINKING that my meds need to be lowered since I've lost 38 pounds and THAT'S causing the headaches, but I wanted to ask if anyone else experiences sick headaches (h/a with nausea) after taking the combo. And yes, I do take the combo with food now because I was queasy taking them without food.

Any thoughts?
I would definitely make an appt with your doc for a reevaluation Mountain Girl-that seems to be the safest path. Are you taking primrose oil? That causes headaches in some people.

It was just a l/c meatloaf, made with gb, crushed pork rinds, couple eggs and seasonings. Instead of making a loaf I used the muffin pan and stuffed it in... made little meatloafs... or big meat balls

wtg deb!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm still eating well, drinking my water and following everyone here, keep up the good work gang!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Which chat engine do we use? You did a FANTASTIC job on the bathroom. I too love the faucets.

I really love your avatar pic, I must start checking ebay for you shirts. I love western shirts but can not get them here in New England, not enough rednecks anymore.

Mountain Girl: I am SOOOOO HAPPY you are back. My son is bipolar and I believe that I suffer from undiagnosed depression too. As hard as it can get, financially and emotionally, know that you have survived worse (cancer) and you will slowly get through this. We ALL LOVE YOU Girl, whether happy, sad, angry or ranting. I have finally found a group of men and women that truly get it, and I REFUSE TO LOSE YOU!!!

To the Rest of the Weight Losers here: CONGRATS and keep up the good work.

Morning Peeps! I have noticed a difference in my "back bumps"-those lovely bags of jigglypuff fat over and under the back of my bra. You gals know what I'm talkin about. I bought 2 cheapie double layer t-shirts from Walmart yesterday and tried them on and was looking in the mirror at my sideways reflection and went whoa, somethings different! My back bumps are definitely smaller! Belly and thighs-can't tell the difference but boy am I ever diggin in my closet for some shirts I thought looked really bad!

Good morning.

Marsha - I am amazed at how anyone can understand computers, bulding them and installing cables. Seems so confusing and like a foreign language to me. I admire what you do.

My body does the same....holds onto the weight. Sometimes, right before I will drop a pound, my body will have a slight gain the day before. Today, I remain the same weight as the last 2 or 3 days.

Chic - Enjoy your visit!

I was going to make NY strips on the grill tonight for dinner, but we are supposed to get snow by late afternoon, so I may just make some chicken thighs in the oven with garlic powder, salt and pepper on them. DH will hate it, as he only likes breast meat. I used to like just the white meat, too, but now I get cravings for chicken thighs.

Did anyone see Jason Michael Carroll and his band on Good Morning America this morning? I saw my daughter's friend, Tim, playing the guitar in his band. I called DD to tell her, and I woke her because of the 1 hour time difference. She was like, yeah, okay. Can I call you back in an hour or so...and she went back to sleep.

BerlinBear - Yeah, western shirts are probably hard to find where you live. We have a couple western shops here, but not many. A few years ago my girlfriend and I took country line dance lessons. It was a lot of fun.

ETA: Hi Lisa! Congrats on those back bumps being gone! I have them to, they look like a little crease in my back. Ugh.

Good morning lovelies and handsomes!!

We got a lovely dusting of snow last night and all the world is white. Now, this is a BIG thing in North Carolina When the news called for snow, everyone ran to the grocery store and rushed the aisles to stock up. We just stayed home and laughed.

I am a whole grain baker (not professional though) and we never buy bread or bread products, I just bake it. So, what does Momma do when the weather outside is bad and everyone is frantically going to the store to buy bread? MOMMA BAKES???

I LOVE to bake with whole grains and I have NO NO NO desire to eat it. This is a BIG accomplishment for me because I am a carb addict and a binge eater. I give all the glory to G-d for this change in me.

I won't tell you all I baked because it's not LC and it would be food porn, but I just enjoy whole grain baking so much and my family truly appreciates it.

OH, I just thought, if anyone want to see some pictures of me, my family etc. I have a blog here:Vickilynn's Blog I don't have my weight loss pictures on there, but I should.

Hi again,

We are preparing our home for an invasion!!

Seriously, we have some dear friends who live in SC (4 hours away) and they have 9 (count 'em NINE) children from 16 years old down to 4 months old and they are coming to spend the night with US!

Ahhh, it's really fun, we do it all the time with this family, and we have a blast. My kids are really good friends with their kids, the families are all Christians and we both home school and eat naturally - mill our own flour and bake our own breads. The Dad and my hubby are good friends and the wife and I are really good buddies! We have a blast cooking and baking and I GET to hold the baby!!! (my "baby" is 8 years old!)

So, I have a bunch of cleaning and baking to do before they get here.

We still don't have money to go shopping, so we'll eat cheap. Whole grain pasta and whole grain pizzas. For me, well, dunno yet, I'm running low on proteins and salads, but we'll see what I can come up with to stay on LC.

Here is my menu plan for today:

Breakfast:
Whey Protein Shake w/ organic flax seeds

Lunch:
roasted Wild Alaska salmon
Roasted green beans
sour cream

Supper:
One Minute Flax Muffin
2 Scrambled eggs w/ Organic baby spinach

Update on the headaches:

I'm seeing my Endocrinologist next week and I'm asking him to reduce and let me wean off several medications for blood pressure and diabetes. We'll see if he does!! I really think those are the cause and not the combo.

Hey Lisa: Cool beans on the back boobs (which is what I call mine) going away!! I think that is SO awesome! Personally, that is one thing that is SO embarrassing and I am rejoicing with you for you seeing yours melt away!! Doesn't that rock your world?????

Also, thanks for the reminder about Kevin's LC baking recipes, but,not to say anything bad about anyone, but I'd rather not use all those ingredients he uses. Other than whey protein powder I use (which is pretty natural), I eat very natural foods and I don't wish to use those other ingredients. I'm not denigrating anyone who does, I just choose not to. But thank you SO much for the suggestion and I hope I haven't offended you by my reply.

Paula, @ that pic

MG, I hope you Dr. adjusts your meds and the headaches go away. We got a dusting of snow last night too, but its gone now. More coming today, but rain after that so it wont last. Bitter cold in the single digits coming this weekend yikes !!! Isnt that silly the first mention of snow the stores get wiped out lol. How much longer do you have to do the chemo??? Have fun with your friends. Sounds like a good time coming . The pics arent showing for me

chic, Phils been around for awhile and he has a very good sense of humor . Have a nice visit with your friend

Marsha, I'm with you there *shudders* at speedos !! That was a visual I did NOT need . Reminds me of another story...(TMI Warning !!!) when my daughter was young, a friend and I took her and my friends nephew to the public pool. we went to the kiddie pool and were sitting on the edge watching the kids. My friend leaned over and said OMG, look across the pool. I did, and OMG there was an adult man sitting on the other side of the pool with his legs wide open and his sack hanging in the water !!! ew ewww ewwwww !!! He had to have been a perv doing that in the kiddie pool. No way did he not know his jewels were dangling with that cold water lapping at them !!!

Deanna, don't you love it when people loved the "dreaded" LC foods? lol.

Dani, I remember those days. My vacation started when the kids ended and they went back to school lol. On the western shirts, just do a search for mens western shirts and his size and save the search, you will get e-mail updates when some are added. Or do a search for wrangler, panhandle slim, roper and different western shirt brands. If I think of any more, I'll let you know

Lisa, thats called backfat , and I agree, this combo really got rid of that for me last t
