Freeingmyself - Thanks for the compliment. I am a natural brunette turned white, early. That is great on your running. I am going to shoot for walking on my treadmill today and see if I can do it without coughing. We shall see.

Hi Guys!

I have to back track to read all the posts to catch up! I hope all of you are well.

Still hanging in.
I did over eat yesterday, I ate when I was hungry, but I are ONLY things on my LC plan. As a result, I didn't have a weight gain, but stayed the same.

I hope to eat very light today.

I DID go back on the Gazelle for 30 minutes last night (against my husband's opposition) and today I am paying for it. I guess I'll take today off from the Gazelle, my body may just not be up for it yet.

I'm saying HOWDY to everyone without reading the posts, so I'll go back and see what y'all have been doing!

Free and Deanna...thanks for your support! Just getting back from the gym with a whole new attitude. I am now putting my goals into action. I just need to stay consistant! When I weighed myself today, something I never do, it really ticked me off! I kept thinking how did I let this happen. It just motivates me all the more.

I am soooo PROUD of everyone here!! We all have set backs but you just can't let it take over.

Mikki - wow girl 30.5" fantastic!

Phil - I like to fish, usually deep sea but will be teaching my son this spring so I will be concentrating on Bass.

MountainGirl: Hang in there Girl, You can do this. You have beaten some many other odds YOU can take CONTROL of this one too.

I did an 1 1/2 hours on the eliptical today. God is my butt sore!!

Got to go, start my next semester of school tonight!!

I agree Dani, evryone is doing so well

I wont be able to do treadmill today because........I am meeting Tom at the park for his lunch hour and we are talking a couple 1 mile laps around the lake there

I had one of Phil breakfast muffins for breakfast, and a cinnamon roll and I put lasts nights rost in the crock pot with some LC BBQ for dinner. I forgot how much you can eat while on LC.

I just tried to watch the movie "The Messengers" . It scared me, so I'll have to wait till Tom is home or when my daughter gets back to finish it

The slope fell in again at work last night so I don't know if I work tonight again

So many new posts! hard to keep up with.. LOL I did read trisha's post about being a post ho......OMG too funny.

Thanks for the congrats guys, ya know when i started L C 'ing i didnt know if i could go through with it cuz it was hard, but after i got thru the first 3 weeks of it i realized it wasent so bad to do, Then the Will power kicked in and how awsome is that feeling, but then again i couldent have done any of it with out your all's help, kind words, and support. So i owe it all to you!!!!!





LOL ar the messengers,,,, kinda creepy huh? Who all has seen Wrong Turn? OMG that movie scared me so bad!!! Normally it takes alot to scare me but it was that movie and also, final destination 2. WOW

Good Afternoon all !!!!
Well the woosh fairy is flapping her wings this week !!! I am down another 5lbs WOOT WOOT!!! Hubby doing this with me is keeping me acountable. Cant wait to see the change in him when he comes in this week!! Besides all the bowling and boxing on the Wii is keeping me off the couch!!

I would love to hit 200 by Valentines day but we will just have to see what happens!!

Hi all. I just finished making DH and DD the lasagna rolls with ricotta, mozzarella and parmesan cheese inside. I put the leftover ricotta cheese mixture inside a portabella mushroom. The other ones I made with the recipe I posted from SugarFreeSheila, except I added a little ground beef with minced garlic to them. Here is a pic of the mushroom with the ricotta inside. I put a few pepperoni slices on top. Yum.


Chic - We can do this! I am a non-mover, so I have to get this butt moving and I am thankful for all the support I can get. Let's all do this "thang" together!

Hi to all

This is short cause Im sick today. Came home from work with fever and stomach bug.

No combo today. Only got breakfast down of: 2 revolution rolls,1 egg, 1 cheese slice ( egg cooked in coconut oil) & coffee/cream/splenda

Had about 10 mac nuts and then started the throwing up so Im in bed sick for rest of night Id say. See you guys tomorrow, have to catch up on threads then.

Thanks for the crock pot recipe. Minus the onions my kids will eat it!

Free-Great job on running! My goal is to run someday-just have to work up to it. I started doing virtual 5Ks a couple months ago and I'm doing better on my time-someday I will run!!

Mikki-30.5 in 4 1/2 months! WOW! I just checked and I only lost 12 in that time period. BUT happy to say overall since Oct 2004 I have lost 78.25 inches! That's more inches than I am tall!

MountainGirl-Just take is easy, maybe only do 10-15 minutes to start?

Chic-At least you are motivated now and not still sitting on the couch! You have a plan and you can do it!!

Berlinbear-1 1/2 hours??? I had to PUSH myself to get an hour yesterday(insert passed out smiley here) Good luck in school!

Trish-That's not news you wanted to hear about work huh? Hubby wanted to know what kind of mine you work in(I can't remember). I can't remember what else he asked me about it either He's asleep right now(on nights) I'll ask when he gets up.

combo atkins

hi all been on the combo for about 3 days, havent been sticking to atkins to much cuz im low on food and money right now, is it ok that I take mine with water, also if the combo works good do I really need to do my induction strict

nla4ever - I'm no expert here, but I believe you can just take the combo with water, but you should eat something. Honey, try and stock up on eggs when you get some money. They are more expensive than they used to be but they are still cheap enough for a good food source and can provide some protein for you. You can make hard boiled eggs, scrambled eggs, if you get some mayo you can make egg salad. Eating clean can for a few days can help get the hungries under control.

Okay now that I feel I've met you people and made some friends I feel like I can let my guard down. I'm serious about using this thread and group now as a tool to get my old self back, what is the best way to do it? I've made a promise to myself to stay on plan and I've already posted my measurements and weighed myself <<that was a hard reality>>. Pictures are next right? Trisha I know you mentioned how good it is to post pictures way back in the beginning of the thread to compare and motivate but what would you say is the best way to do it? Here on the thread or on our own profile or journal?

Kathy, I work in a Limestone Mine. We are 600-800 feet underground. We are supposed to go to work tonight so we'll see how that goes. We are under a K order right now which means we are not allowed to go underground but still have to go in.

nla4ever, welcome to the thread good attitude you have , you'll do fine here . You may want to choose something beside frosted mini wheats, they are loaded with sugar. Try the cla with calorie countdown milk too.

Oops...there must have been a delay in posting before Trisha went to work or I'm sure she would have mentioned something about posting pics. Anyone else plan on posting some before and after pics of themselves??? I did go back to the beginning of the thread and found to post at the beginning of the month. I'm really camera shy though!

Well sleep just not happening. Cant sit up long but cant lay long ugh. I hate it when Im fighting a sickness. Anyway, hey to all.
I was down another lb this morning to 188. Lost .5 inches in my waist.

Chic- Im very camera shy. Not sure I can get the guts up to get my pic uo yet till i am closer to goal lol. I posted my before and up till now pic other day but not a full body. Going to hold off I think.

Ill be more up to posting tomorrow . I cant even read im so crappy feeling. Going to lay back down and see if any movies on. You guys have fun and talk tomorrow.
