I feel it is fair to warn you, the pills and tea are pretty easy to take. But the fiber can take a bit of getting used to. It is kind of sweet, but definitely not tasty. And gets really thick if you wait too long to gulp it down. The instructions said it works best if you can use a blender to get it more creamy.
But I am lazy and don't like to wash my blender jar, so I just whisk it with a fork and drink it clumpy. Just thought I would say so if anyone out there has a tendency to gag really easily.

Ahhh man.......I have a weak gag reflex. I don't vomit often but if I get something snagged in my throat I will gag easily.

You still might be able to do it if you blend the fiber up and swig it down quickly. I just thought it would be good to mention the possibility.
I normally don't throw up. I could never be bulimic because I can't do the finger down the throat thing. I gag and carry on, but it never works. Only one time I let my fiber sit too long and it got really gelled. I almost couldn't get it down and then it nearly came back up. The texture was icky. But maybe you could add extra water or whatever liquid to the mix to keep it from doing that. |

This thread has kept me on plan all day. I had to sing while I ate my roast pork to stop from thinking what had burrowed into it.

brilliant100Did I read your siggy right that you are pregnant?
Some of the herbs in the program are not suitable for preg or breastfeeding moms. I had to wean my baby before I could do it. But, it wouldn't hurt to look (unless you are already nauseated!) |

i use a hand blender. one of those that fits inside your glass? it works really well. ive mixed mine with diet snapple and orange juice. if i use snapple i drink half the bottle then put in the fiber and shake it up good. or you can get one of those shaker bottles from netrition. i will have to use that on the road. i dont have any problems with gagging it down when i mix it or shake it.

Maybe I will have to try to find some lc flavored beverage to mix with. I have just been taking it plain because I didn't want to waste my carbs on juice ( and most artificially sweetened drinks don't seem to like me much).
I took an extra scoop of fiber last night after my tea. Havent noticed much change from that. This morning I noticed something that looked like a celery 'string' but I havent had celery for several days. So, I guess that could be a worm. |

I've had family visiting for several days but couldn't wait to get back here and read how your worms and parasites were doing! This is probably my favorite thread ever but can't remember now where the name or link to the site is. I would love to do this but not sure I could stomach it. How does one get so infected?

I think I am going to skip my tea and supps tonight and tomorrow morning. I am going berry picking and won't be near a bathroom all day. That stuff really keeps me kind of unpredictable. Looks like I have 2 or 3 days left on first month...
I connot believe how clear the skin on my arm looks. Normally, the rash just subsides and I can still see a faint discoloration where it appears. But right now it looks just like normal skin. If the Colonix is really killing off what is causing it, I am happy to take it for another month! Goodbye rash, so long worms-- Christie, did you go straight into your second treatment, or take a break for a few days? The box says it is okay to take it up to 3 months straight, right? Say, this is kind of a gross question, but I was wondering if you have noticed that the longer you are on the program the worse the stuff that comes out smells? |

After posting above I found the website. The pictures are truly gross but makes me want to do it!
I don't know if I want to shell out the dough right now but would love to see if it would help with my digestive issues. As far as worms go, we were told as kids that worms cause your bottom to itch. That was a sign. I guess that's not true if they are up there living in adults for years? You didn't ask me, Heather, but I did read that on the website about the smell getting much worse as you go along. So this doesn't cause cramping like some teas for bowel movements/weight loss? |

Pinworms especially can cause itchy bottom, because they crawl out to lay thier eggs. But not all worms do this. You could have other types and never have an itch problem. I have a pretty sensitive digestive tract and I have not noticed any cramping except a bit of a sqeezing feeling when it is time to go. The info says that mild cramping is normal. The tea just encourages the intestines to contract a little more forcefully than normal is all. It has never been painful, though. My only real problem with it is that it gave me the runs while I was first starting, and I often will need to go RIGHT NOW, a couple times during the day (after my initial trip in the morning). |

Stinky excrement is a good thing for what you are doing that is, it means some of your buried impacted feces is coming out instead of continueing to cling to your colon walls. When our colons are healthy and clean it shouldnt really have much of an odor even our gas.....got to go..my buzzer on the oven is ringing...olo

heather your supposed to take a 5 day break from the tea and paranil. thats prob why theres more fiber left, as your supposed to continue taking the fiber those 5 days. i am going to do the 3 month cleanse and maybe longer if im still passing stuff. you can take the paranil and fiber longer. but not the tea. im going to continue taking the fiber as it keeps you regular and it still helps eliminate buildup. i will also do this once a year for a month.

I think many people who are perfectly healthy can have parasites. I understand most people have candida (yeast) organisms in their bodies. It just lives along with all the other beasties and bacteria and you never know the difference--unless it grows out of balance and starts to take over. I think for many of us, the parasites are there, but a non issue. The Colonix info stated that most of them are microscopic. Not everyone has a load of 'peanuts' in them, or a two foot tapeworm. On the other hand, I don't think it hurts at all to do a cleanse 'just in case', or to help maintain the balance. It is possible that a lot of digestive issues, skin problems and general fatigue could clear up without ever having to be traumatized by 'what came out'. At the very least, the program helps to clean out the pipes that my have become sluggish over the years. That is a plus in my book. |

Huh, I've been eating beef several times a week and it isn't bothering me. It is what is free, already in our freezer. I also eat eggs, chicken and canned fish, but no pork.
I still can't say 100% that I have seen any actual worms--at least nothing I would point at and say "there it is!" But I am sure there is a lot of older stuff moving out. The smell has become really strong--and embarrassing! I can't believe I have that much rotten stuff inside me! |
