I'll never look at another peanut the same way

Ok, so someone said no carbs in the colonix???? I thought i read it had 10 carbs per serving...I know its 8 carbs fiber, but the diet i'm doing does NOT allow you to subtract fiber, your supposed to take phsyullum husk for your fiber (no carb)...

Can you guys look at your bottles again and report back I keep praying that my big tummy is somewhat related to needing a cleanse...i'm 41 and my poo plunks and sinks

Lord..i hope no one who knows me reads this!

Okay

The tea and herbal caps do not list any carbs on their packaging

The fiber part is psyllium husks, flax seed, fennel seed, licorice root, aloe vera, grapefruit pectin, papaya fruit, slippery elm bark, marshmallow root, rhubarb root, alfalfa, guar gum, pepperming leaf and uva ursi leaf

It contains 42 calories
o fat
10g total carbs
8g of those carbs are fiber from the psyllium and seeds

All people need 20-30 grams of fiber every day for colon health from soluble and insoluble fiber so whether these have carbs (they do) or not they are not negotiable for health and to stop the 'plunking'. If your colon has debris one cant absorb all the micronutrients and you may feel bad and wonder why. Also some of us, like me, must use digestive enzymes to break down the food we eat so it can be assimilated by the healthy colon. Many naturopathic and alternative health docs believe that LIFE and DEATH begin in the colon. Chronic constipation or diarrhea are NOT normal at all, neither is going once every 3 days. Im reading a book right now by Jordan S. Rubin, N.MD., PhD. on this very subject, a must read called, "Patient, Heal Thyself".

Ya'll keep up the good work. Nursey, gotta do something about that plunking for sure. BTW, Im not doing colonix but another program. Mine I take in HSO's (Homestatic organisms from the soil) that eat behind the crud of my intestines and cause it to peel off and exit the usual way. I will have to maintain these little crud eaters indefinitely. Weird, huh.

Happy hunting

I love DR. RUBIN'S book! And the HSO's make a lot of sense, too. He healed himself from CROHN's disease by using them and eating a clean diet. I think that is amazing.

I have some in caplet form and my 3 year old loves it--she asks for her 'black pills'. the other two older ones don't, though. I have to kind of force them.

The black pills are homeostatic soil organisms. They are basically a very high grade of probiotic. And are not affected by stomach acid. They are supposed to eat the waste and help repopulate the colon with good bacteria. It would be a very good product to add to the Colonix program.

I do not think the HSO's would actually kill off a worm, but cleaning out the old waste would make the intestine a much less hospitable invironment for them to live.

The Fungal Defense is for candida infection. Kerry, are you fighting a yeast infection?

Dr. Rubin recommends starting with that (14 days) before starting on Primal Defense so it is more effective. In his book he indicates the HSO's will cause worms , ect to exit with normal evacuation as the HSO's eat thru the crud and get rid of what parasites would be feeding off of... I did an extensive cleanse recently but i still had problems with nutrient absorbtion so I continued to investigate what else to do. Thats how I found out about the HSO's.. I used to be always constipated...right now Its the opposite but I understand in time this will stabilize and my poo will become normal consistency. I used to only go once every 3 days or so, so this is a big change to go every day or today after each time I ate, i went... Before its all said and done, I may do another 60 day cleanse once i do this awhile to speed this process up...I'm not sure yet.

I have seen the site but I can't bring myself to look at the photos. I'm chicken. Even more chicken to take it. I'm scared what might come out. Ears, throats and sinuses. Plus I'm a teacher. I have to start training my bladder and bum again not to go between 7am and 4pm.

But my tummy is so bloated all the time. No problem evacuating but I have the joint problems.

Okay. I just viewed the site with DH. I hid behind him and asked him to click on the pages for me. It wasn't as bad as I thought. Disgusting but not scary. DH was like "why are they lining stuff up on the toilet seat?"

I must say I enjoyed a good laugh lurking here. And Lord knows I needed a good laugh. We all have a sick sense of humor.

That rash inside my elbow is almost totally gone. The skin has kind of a funny, rough texture, though. I wonder if I will have another flare up before I am done?

Say, Christie, how often do you use the fiber? I have about one week left of the pills and tea, but seem to have about two or more weeks worth of fiber left. And I have been taking the full dose every morning.

I have NOT had anything crawling out of any orifice, facial or otherwise. But I do have a lighter, cleaner feeling. And seem to have fewer bouts with indigestion (read 'gas').

Yep, quick 'n' clean! Sounds like the name of an automatic car wash.

But the first few days were a little rough on me. I tend to get the runs kind of easy, and during the initial break in period, I had a pretty sore behind. I swiped the baby's wipes a couple of times.
