heather, exactly. you can pick up pinworms from shopping carts even. it is very common. im glad im ridding myself of this stuff. i also found out that having an unhealthy colon can make your body more acidic, which mine is. hopefully this will help balance me out again.

Little kids often have pinworm. A former RN told me it used to be very common where she came from (midwest) for doctors to regularly worm farm kids on a seasonal basis.

I am really excited to get started, too. Not because I have this morbid curiosity about what is in me, but because I know I probably do have "something" that doesn't belong.

Well, I started my program yesterday. The stuff made me feel a little queasy. Is that pretty normal?

I discovered this morning that at least the tea does what it is supposed to! Have to be careful with that, I guess.

heather i started out with the recommend steepage. everybody is diff. i can steep it along time and not have to go that bad. one thing i noticed and my brother has noticed is that the tea does not make us sleepy.

i grew up in the midwest and played on a farm and i was never dewormed.

might want to be careful about eating beef while on the program. my brother got sick from it. he got upset stomache and diarreha.

if you drink too much water you will be running to the bathroom. that happend to me the second day.

Christie, I have a pretty touchy system, so the regular steep time must be a little too strong. Tonight, I will try a little weaker brew.

I don't know how long ago this was or where in the midwest the deworming was done. It may not have been a widespread practice, just something this person had observed where she worked. It makes sense, though, with all the farming that is done, plus the warm moist climate in some midwestern areas. It would be a great parasite breeding ground. I hear tropical areas are really bad for it, too.

About the beef--do you think the beef interacted with the herbs, or just that because of detox, the beef is too hard to digest right now? I am mostly eating eggs and chicken for protein, but beef would be a top participant. I will heed the warning, though and go easy. I noticed the instructions recommended going easy on all meat while cleansing. Maybe I need to try tofu, or something?

ew, I wonder if your flat sheets of 'beef' were those flukes that I have seen pics of elsewhere.

Coincidentally, I had the need to go just now, and I am already starting to see the mucus gunk that the stuff is supposed to flush out.

I am already doing about 80- 100 ounces of water a day. I think this fits the recommendations, so I won't up it for now. I spend most days at home (I'm a mom) so frequent bathroom trips arent too much of a problem. The more I go, the sooner I will be cleaned out, right?

Oh, I also found out that unscented baby wipes are really soothing for bums that are sore from frequent use or hemmorhoids (delivery of babies is always a learning experience)

One month costs $75.50. They currently have a discount for two or three month packs. I actually bought the two pack, thinking DH might do this, too. The site recommends that first timers do a two month cleanse, so I may just keep it for myself, and if it really works, I can order another for him. if you do a search on "colonix" you can easily find the site for more info.

Overdid the tea again last night. Maybe I am weird, but I actually liked the taste. I added a little extra fiber (from my previous brand) this morning to try to gel things up a bit.

I hope it will. I think I will totally skip the tea tonite as we have church tomorrow morning and I don't want to be too disruptive.

Come to think of it, I usually only need fiber to keep me regular. I wonder if I just quick-dipped my tea bag if that would be enough? I seem to be super responsive to it.

Wow, I don't know if it is the tea or the water or the fiber that is doing it to me, but it is no joke that this stuff makes you go! I do not remember this happening when I tried the cleansing program before.

But then, I had pretty much forgotten I had done it at all. Maybe the reason I didn't remember is that it didn't work then? This must be an improved formula or fresher batch or something.

the tea also helps detoxify you, so you might want to take it for that reason alone. the more water you drink with the fiber the more you will go. i go anywhere from 1-4 times a day. im on #2 today.

So, how are you feeling? I understand some people will actually feel sick as the worms die off, due to the parasites releasing toxins as they die? I have noticed a slight nausea. Not too bad, just kind of a strange feeling.

Do you think it will have much of an effect on your weight? Some of the testimonies state that the users lost some pounds and ended up with a flatter belly. Looks like you have only been doing this about 2 weeks, so maybe it is too early to tell.

Yes, it is gross, yes it is for real. Of course the site is selling a product, so I don't know if their statistics are as high as they claim. But I would bet a lot of us have parasites and haven't got a clue.

The program is also supposed to help cleanse the colon of debris, too, even if a person does not have worms.

Ew, I still haven't seen anything I could call a parasite. But this morning I passed this ropy-looking stuff that I think must be some of the 'layers of old fecal matter' that are supposedly stuck to the inside of everyones colon. It was weird, but not painful or anything.

The literature said that often the parasites are hiding in/under this stuff, but I am not about to go poking around in it to find out! Maybe as more 'layers' are soaked loose it will release worms that are stuck in it.

I have to say I have tried other colon cleansing products that say this sort of thing will happen and it never has before. Mostly, I either just got bulky "waste" or cramps and the runs. So this stuff must really be doing something.

BTW. the nausea and runs have subsided. I can still definitely feel when I need to go, but it isn't like an emergency any more. I am taking the full dose of the stuff now, and it isn't giving me any problems. I am thinking my body just needed the time to adjust to what I am doing. I am really glad the instructions start out with a half dose, though, I probably would have had a very violent reaction and just quit if I hadn't been able to ease into it.

I am curious as to whether you were prone to urinary tract infections?

I still haven't seen anything I could call a 'parasite'. But I do feel like the stuff is cleaning me out.

I was curious, because you keep peeing out worms and I wonder if that might have had something to do with a tendency toward bladder infections.

I suspect I have a systemic yeast myself, although I have never in my life had a vaginal yeast. I have seen several candida web sites that have lists of symptoms, and I have a lot of the other symptoms. A couple of the sites even say it is possible to have the infection and never have vaginal--So, I think I probably fit.

Actually, yeast was the other main reason (besides weight and sugar addiction) that I decided to go l
