If you allow a couple hours between the cla/gla and the colonix, it should be ok to continue it. You need to give your body time to absorb the cla/gla before you take anything else that may absorb (or expel lol) it

OK got my kit and Im thinking I will wait until Friday to start. Im in sales and on the road most of the week. Question for you veteran colon cleaners (now THAT didnt sound right).....what do you mix the fiber in and does it have a taste?
Can anyone give me an idea of weigh lost and in how long? The pamphlet said 5-10 pounds of fecal matter is possible. Y.U.C.K |

I use plain water to keep the carbs down. But you could probably use crystal light or some other LC flavored mix. It isn't totally gross, but it does have a taste. The texture actually bothers me more. It is kind of thick and gloppy when I just whisk it with a fork. The instructions say it has a smoother consistency if you use one of those battery powered hand blenders.
I have lost weight, but I don't know if it is due to diet, cleansing, exercise or a combination. But if you tend to constipation, I imagine you can look forward to a 5 pound or so drop by the end of your first month.

ok y'all i got the scare of my life........tonight as my son is eating dinner no less, he tells me how his butt keeps itching all day today. so automatically i think "PINWORMS"
wellllllllllll...........glad i listened to my mothers instinct. cos i went upstairs before he took a shower and checked him (i put PLASTIC GLOVES ON FIRST) i saw ONE worm in there deep. so then he took a shower and then i checked him again, and i saw MORE. i frantically called my mom and told her. so now i have to clean all the clothes and sheets and am going to scrub down the floors too and vacuum. i am sooo freaked out!!!! Even MORE reason why i went ahead and ordered the colonix stuff tonight. soon as i saw he had them, i went online and ordered the stuff for me and then the Paranil Jr for him I told my mom about the colonix and the website, she checked it out. then i told her about this thread and my colonic experience and now she is going to order the stuff too. |

Angtonio: OMG !! Finding pinworms in my child would really freak me out too! It makes me wanna go inspect my daughter now. She has been experiencing constipation as well bcuz her poo is in the form of little pebbles.
My BF told me he had worms when he was a child and the doctor gave him medicine to get rid of them. He said he remembered seeing the dead worms in is poo. So I agree with Nursey. Definitely have him checked by a pediatrician and let us know how things go. |

I'm at work and I just gave birth to a foot long monster! It had the corn and tomato pieces from last night's dinner embedded in it and the width of it was about 2 inches. I had a feeling that today's BM would be something unordinary becuz last night right after I drank the tea, my stomach started grumbling and early this morning I could feel mass movement accompanied with minor cramping. The movement felt like strong baby movements in my stomach.
I was so ready for it to come out, but nothing happened even after exercising this morning. Maybe it was becuz I drank the tea close to 11pm last night. For now on, I'll have to start drinking it around 8pm to make sure that I have a BM before leaving for work. |

Have any of you noticed an increased appetite while taking colonix? All this week my appetite has been ravenous. I seem to crave chocolate and peanuts and it's not even close to my TOM.

hey girls,
well unfortunately my son had this the beginning of last school year. so i am very aware of what to do with the house and stuff. first thing this morning when the clinic on base opened i called and they said since he had it before they will just prescribe him meds like last night. i have been disinfecting the whole apt since late last night. was up till 2 am doing laundry, cleaning all clothes and bed stuff. wiping down everything. now i am about to get his meds and get some more cleaning stuff. especially more gloves. i dont mind cleaning but since its sooo sooo contagiious i want to be careful. i dont want to get infected. and believe me, i been checking like crazy. i had 2 bm's this morning so i been looking. sooo far nothing. had me wishing i had some chopsticks poor baby, my son is sooo upset. good thing is that he said his butt only started itching yesterday so that is good. As far as the paranil jr pills...i ordered them but i wont let him start taking it till later. i want to use the pills the doc gives us for the next two weeks. NURSEY: how long does it take for the first pill to kill them off? i remember last year i cant remember if it was 1 or 2 days that we saw his bm and it was covered in them....dead of course. but will it kill them all? so if i check his butt in 1 week will i find more? believe me i am busting my butt today to totally disinfect the apt. OH, the nurse said they sell stuff like at the pharmacy section to kill worms too. is that true? i am going to look now for me. K, gotta get to the base. TTYL! have a great day! happy colon cleansing today........cant wait to get my stuff. |

Woah! Looks like a lot of activity since I last checked in!
Angtoinio I am so sorry to hear of your child's problem. I am always paranoid about my kids having some sort of invader. And they usually have NO inhibitions about scratching. I understand the PW are most active at night, when the kid is in bed and will scratch when mom doesn't have a clue. Be sure to buy a scrub brush for cleaning under his fingernails whenever he uses the bathroom. Fingernails are great places for the eggs to lodge to be redeposited later. Nursey I loved your granny story! I do recall reading about that sort of thing. Itchy bum. Even nose picking as a sign of worms?! Maybe that is because of sinus parasites?KeishamPoor little girl! Pebbles?! Surely there must be something that could be done for her. Is she old enough to be able to take the fiber--even a quarter dose with a glass of juice? That might help, especially if you could get more liquid down her. Do you think the thing you passed was what was moving around, or just your body forcing it out? That is really interesting what you said about being hungry. I have not noticed it at all. I wonder if it has something to do with your parasites dying off, and causing the cravings as they release their toxins. Chocolate and peanuts are two things that are often cut out of diets of people with systemic yeast infection, because they feed the beasties. This morning, I had some yellowish brown colored mucus, and some transluscent grey colored stuff that looked a bit like a thin strip of that plastic that is wrapped around stuff like cheese. And something that looked like a "celery string", that I can only assume was a worm. ![]() |

I have been reading, with interest, the Colonix thread. I have been looking at this for a while now and even have gone as far as starting to place an order, but can't make myself push the order button.......reason being, First, the cost, and secondly, does it really work and will it work for me.....a little background.
I am a 42 yo female who has been consipated for most of my life, Back when I smoked, I didn't have any problem. I have always had to have a little help in that area, I have tried fiber (as directed by my doctor when I asked aobut it) All I got from that was three days worth of metamucil in my gut, not pleasant. I have tried to daily cleanse products which can be purchased at the nutrition places at the mall, you know a fiber and herb bundle. Not much relief there.......I have tried magnisium, extra vitamin C, extra water, fiber rich foods, No consisent relief. I usually have to resort to a laxative to 'clean me out'. I once went ten days without a bm.....and my family wonders why I am grumpy at times...... I recently went to my local health food/nutrition store (mom and pop place) and talked with the woman there about my many complains, I have high cholestral and have been put on meds, I know I am suffering from premenapausal symptoms, I have had my thyroid and hormones levels checked, I have very heavy and painful periods (doctor wanted to do an endometrial abulation) and just have not felt like myself lately. She suggusted we start with a liver cleanse........then we discussed bowels.....she said I should be going two to three times per day, you know, food in........poo out....... (now wouldn't that be nice). I have to stop in to see her again, as I am done with the liver cleanse pills and either need to continue to .....I don't know..... Now, my questions: Based on my bathroom history, will this work for me? I have tried so many things and I fear this will end up being just another set of bottles of pills in my cupboard (I have so many) Is it worth the cost? How many months did you purchase/do? Is it now......food in.......poo out.........for you? I appreciate the time and knowledge any responders will give. I will continue to read the thread. Thanks.

HI, Kimm, and
I personally have never experienced chronic constipation, so I will not attempt to answer that as an authority. There are some other ladies here who could probably let you know their own experience, though But I will say that I have tried other cleansing products and have never had anything happen like what happens on Colonix. Other fibers just bulk things up, but I have never produced anything like what has happened in the past month and a half. The program hits stool bulk with the fiber, sluggish intestines with the tea and parasites with the pills. The particular combination of ingredients and the order in which you take them is important, as well as their purity and potency. I strongly suspect some of the cheaper/generic versions use cut rate ingredients, or just don't make the stuff strong enough to be effective. Some of the other programs might be fine for a person with little/no trouble, or as a cost effective maintenance program, but I would not suggest you do one as an initial cleanse if you have serious problems. Colonix recommends first time users to do at least 2 months (3 is best for first timers). I actually was only going to do a one month run, but did not see anything I could definitely call a parasite until I started my second month. One month did get my bowels moving more regularly, though. When I bought mine, they were running a multi pack sale, for cost efficiency. I am really glad I got two boxes! I am more regular than ever lately. first thing in the morning, sometimes twice. And usually again in the evening after dinner and then again before bed. The smell has changed so much from 'regular' stink to 'road kill' I know it is still causing stuff to be removed from the inside of my intestines rather than just pushing the day's supply of food along. I believe it was worth my money, as I now feel 'lighter' (hard to explain) and have more complete BM's. And I still occaisionally see what looks like a worm, or 'peanut', so I do believe the stuff is still working on me. ![]() |

i only bought a months worth due to the price. I bought mine on ebay for 60 bucks or so with shipping. I'm bummed that it might not be enough.
Does the tea come in tea bags? This is elcheapo of me, but what happens if you re-seep the tea bags?? Like save 2 teabags and re-seep the 3rd day...just wondering as i know they give you more fiber. I'm almost positive that the parnil (sp) that kills the worms is enough to kill what you have. Its systemic, not contact killer, which means its working you your blood stream, it just takes a while to get them out in all that poo. So what do you all think....If i spend another 70 bucks to poo for another month i might poo my way to divorce court! LOL (j/k, but still...lot of money) |

Your right, Nursey, it is a lot of money up front. (sigh).
I don't know about reusing the bags. I don't think they have fiber, just are basically a senna based herabl tea that encourages the intestines to squeeze out the junk. There is a similar tea that you can sometimes find in the grocery store or health food store--called Smooth Move. It has some of the same ingredients, but probably is not as potent. I have bought a box once for about $4. If you could find that, you maybe could use it after your initial supply is gone. |

It's taken me a while to get caught up. I hit the "cancel all threads" so my email wouldn't bulk up from all the different threads I had responded to and then forgot that I wouldn't get these updates so I had to go find the thread again!
So many new people! I still haven't ordered it. Can't wait to see how the new people do (or doo-doo ), too.Quote:

You are welcome to post away! I don't dig around in the toilet, so I probably wouldn't have anything very exciting to show.just a partially buried peanut or celery string, or floating mucus...Only what I can see by looking in from above. I haven't figured out how to post a pic to a thread anyway.
