Two more weeks and it's me AND hubby are going for it. Both toilets are about to earn their keep.

Okay. I have a REALLY DISGUSTING question.

Does the amount of poop clog up your toilet? I have one of those old toilets that even toilet paper sometimes clogs it up. I'm afraid my toilets will clog and overflow. If you had to guess an amount, how many cups would it fill up?

Told ya it was nasty.

But very important to know! Clogged toilets are nasty, too!

I think the amount is going to be different for most people. But I will say, for me, I often don't even have formed stools. It is very loose. I think the amount of tp needed could be more of a problem. But, then again, since elimination is so complete, there isn't need for any more of that than normal, either. At least, for me.

Usually, if our toidy gets plugged it is either because someone passed a bunch of very hard stool, or uses 10 feet of tp.

Well, you could try flushing the toilet at the same time that you're pooing. You may not get a chance to view what's been clogging your intestines for years, but at least you won't have the extra burden of dealing with a clogged toilet..........that just might overflow.

Even though this is only Day 2 for me, I've been experiencing extreme bloating during the evenings. So I just took another dose of the fiber and later tonight I will steep my tea for 20 minutes this time. Hopefully the evening bloat will go away soon. I am so tired of looking pregnant.

Keisham, were you taking the full scoop of fiber before, or the half scoop?

Too much fiber too fast may be responsible for the discomfort. Maybe less fiber and keep the tea stronger till the first 5 days are over.

Looks like Shay needs to invest in a plunger as well as chopsticks.

Actually, I understand.

My parents built a new house and got one of those pricey corner toilets because my mom thought it was kind of cool and it made better use of floor space. And it was trouble from day one. It seemed the thing could choke on just liquid. And they were forever having to plunge. Dad finally replaced with a cheaper, basic model like the ones we have in our place. They rarely have a prob. now.

And after 4 years with 5 users, we have only had to plunge ours 3 or 4 times. That isn't too bad, considering 4 yr olds have a tendancy to unwind half a roll of paper when left on their own

Yeah, I did start out with a full scoop of fiber. But I've been drinking tons of water with it. So instead of pooing alot, I've been peeing alot.

thats your bloating problem right there. all that water is causing the fiber to expand in your intestines and colon, therefore causing bloat...

All i can say is keep drinking the water so it will wash down the fiber. once your body adjusts you will be fine.

I'm thinking the same thing. Fiber needs an adjustment period, especially if you have not previously been getting much. It is good you are drinking. Lots of fiber with little water =constipation big time, because the fiber dries out in your intestine and plugs everything up.

Cut back to the half scoop, definitely drink the water. I drink a full glass with the fiber mixed in and another full glass immediately after. Then sip water all through the day. Use a straw, flavor it, however you can get it down.

I was also told that drinking a mug of hot water with lemon juice first thing in the morning will help to get the colon to 'wake up' and contract better. If you sweeten it a bit, it is like hot lemonade. It did seem to help me.

OK so last night i went onto the colonix website.....and dug deeper into the testimonials so i would know what might happen...

one lady said she had parasites coming out with her pee

THAT would freak me out sooooooooooooo bad. i have accepted that they will come out the other end but not in my pee.

So i researched all the ingredients i found that one is the one that kills the parasites, its called male fern.

My DH and i are trying to conceive (well we are starting again next month) and the book i got for preconception talks about all the herbs and their effects. that one was in the book, so i looked at the paranil's ingredients and its in there.

ewww ok. so anyway, just wanted to let you know. gotta go for my run. talk to you later.

Christie reported the same thing.

If you are trying to get preg, you may not want to do a cleanse at the same time. The packaging is pretty clear that it is not for pregnant women. Some herbs can cause miscarriage, or otherwise harm your baby, or you. If you are not preg, then doing a cleanse before would be great! It would boost your chance of a healthy pregnancy and baby. But it would be a good idea to use 'precautions' to prevent the pregnancy before you are done with the program.

Hope you enjoy your run!

I think I may have taken too much fiber yesterday. I have not had any urge to go poo today and it's almost 8pm. I still drank the recommended water amount but nothing has happened except for some minor bubbling in my stomach. I'm trying to be patient but at times I just feel desparate when I'm so bloated....like right now.

From the sound of your posts, you really do have a bad case. And there may actually be a blockage somewhere along the line. It probably will take a while. Did you often get bloated and constipated before? Did you get a multi month program?

Yes, I am really backed up. I've been constipated and bloated for at least 15 years. I only bought a month's supply of Colonix just in case I determine that it's just not for me. I'm gonna hope for the best for tomorrow morning.

Funny you should ask that. I wanted to know the same from Christie, earlier on.

As of this morning, I was 147. Two weeks ago I was 153. In the past month I have lost about an inch in my waist and almost 2 inches in my lower abdomen. I have to be honest and say I am also exercising, and sticking pretty well to my diet, though, so I am not sure which to credit. Maybe all three?

Also, for some reason I am bloated this evening, and bounced back up 3 pounds . Weird. I've been drinking and *ahem* eliminating fine all day. Oh well, it will probably peel back off by Monday. Normally, I do not feel bloated, though. except for TOM, which was last week.

I have been feeling like my breath is really bad, lately, so today I started to drink iced peppermint tea to help deoderize the internal invironment. And lots of tooth brushing and minty gum.

In the mornings, I have been waking up with this icky white coating on my tongue, so I am also becoming a regular tongue scraper. It seems to help with the breath.

I'm not Shay, but I always subtract the fiber and it has never been a problem for me. The Colonix fiber does have 2g countable carbs. I think it is because of the flax seed. Anyway, you get 8g fiber per serving, but 10g total carbs.

I think it is worth it, though.
