The trauma......
Almost makes me want to call a plumbing expert and just get one of those colon flushes and be done with it quickly. But, on second thought, I don't think I want to get that personal with anyone. I will share my parasites on line, but I wouldn't rush anyone into the bathroom for a viewing session. They probably wouldn't make it back out conscious, anyway, without a gas mask. I do hope the smell improves soon. I suppose this is best, after all. I don't know what I was thinking. I guess I just figured I was in the clear because I had gone an entire month with nothing visible. Especially since you seemed to have instant results. I was *hoping* all I had might be the microscopic critters that I would never have to see. My rash seems to be totally gone, now! And the patch where it was doesn't itch, like it often did.

EWWWWW.......well yesterday i could feel my tummy bloated and hurting and know i was backed up. I felt a weird pain a get sometimes when i am backed up in my left front side. well, after work i went to the base exchange and as i was paying i had the urge to "go"....so i ran to the potty.
I went sooo much. Now, i am not on the colonix but i do have a tendency to look at my poo (some weird fascination with how much i went...always been like this)....so i look down and see something white and thin swimming in the water i realized it was one of those parasite worms i saw back in jan during my colonic. i was sooo freaked out. so at about 7 i took some poopoo flush pills. by 3 am i was cleaned out. i can breath better ![]() |

It was SWIMMING? Like the backstroke? Okay, So I've been going over my diet the last couple of days. And I think I have a reasonable explanation for the 'peanuts'. Yesterday, and the day before, I had eaten some carrots and had totally forgotten about it. The stuff I saw was not orange, but more the color of the peanut pix, but I am thinking they could have been bleached by my digestive juices? And although I always thought that I chewed my food pretty well, maybe I just was chomping the stuff into 1/4-1/3 " sized chunks? I didn't pluck anything out for close examination but all the things looked to be about the same shape as the peanuts---BUT maybe the way I chew my food, it comes out pretty uniformly shaped? Aside from the fact that I never recall this happening before when I have eaten carrots, and the above mentioned info........ Would the carrots be a reasonable explanation of what I saw, or is this just Heather indulging in wishful thinking? Do you think the carrot/peanut connection is just a coincidence? Or is it more probable that I have visible visitors and I am just in denial? The power of suggestion? ![]() PS. This morning, I passed more mucus and old stuff, and some very small, very orange bits that did not have a regular shape, and I am SURE they were carrot. Well Heather, those little bits of carrot made it through still orange Sooooo It wouldnt make since that the 'peanuts' are really big carrot chunks devoid of color. Hate to break it to ya.
But thank you for the reminder of the need to chew well! |

Interesting thread...
Hello All. I was searching the web for some reviews about the Colonix program and came across this thread. I am expecting the product in the mail today and was hoping I could also share my journey with the program on this thread.
I've had constipation problems for as long as I can remember. I became health conscious about 5 years ago. I've been diagnosed with IBS-D. I often look like I'm 5 months pregnant and the constant bloating is sometimes painful and has caused me to leave work at times. I've lost and gained weight numerous of times during these years and thought maybe I should tackle the root of my yo yo dieting problems first. I weighed 215lbs. back in 2001 and dropped down to 166lbs. in mid 2002. Since then I've only gained back at the most 15lbs here and there. So here I am, very very anxious to start the program and ready to see some results. |

Welcome Keisham29, I know all will be happy to have you join this intestinal clean out journey.
I know what IBS is but not sure what the C means. Colitis? I agree that you are on the right track. Getting the intestines and company straightened out is high priority with anyone with history of constipation. I now believe it is very important to follow the cleanse with hi powered probiotics to get the good/bad bacteria ratio in balance. Should be 85/15. Again, look forward to your posts. ![]() |

Thanks Kerry! The C stands for Constipation. You either have diarrhea or constipation with IBS.

welcome keisham the more the merrier.
heather i agree with kerry. they prob are "peanuts" angtonio even if the worms are coming out, they are coming out alive which means hte eggs and worms are not being killed and new eggs will hatch and you will not get rid of the problem. AND if you have worms what else do you have?? |

I haven't posted to this thread for a while but have been keeping up with your (you all's) progress! I have to say I even thought of you while out today. I was leaving the hair salon and saw a Chinese restaurant in the strip center and immediately thought "get extra chopsticks"!
I'm not even doing Colonix and I'm thinking that much about it! Welcome, Keisham! I can't wait to hear your journey, too. I suppose I might do this at some point. I have also had constipation issues for just about all my life. I get the pregnant belly look and can go almost a week without having a bm. I do not have it as bad as you but have gone through times where I wondered if I had IBS. My mother does but definitely the D type. Good luck to you! |

Hi all-Thanks for the opinions, guys (sigh). I guess I am officially infested. I was berry picking with my kids, and tasting a berry or two off of each new bush, to be sure they were ripe, and I just realized, that is a perfect way to end up with parasites. I was eating them right off the bush and had no idea what had been there first!
Welcome back LisaM and Welcome Keisham29! Lisa, I know what you mean about thinking about it --I actually almost got myself a pair of chopsticks recently. Wow, one, BM per week, that must really get uncomfortable. I start to feel it if I am backed up for 2 days! AngtonioI hadn't thought of it before, but Christie is right. If they are coming out alive, they are still thriving. And if they are alive, they will be very likely to infect other people who live with you--The eggs are tiny and definitely can be in your undies. Be sure to use HOT water and bleach when you wash them! I always wash uderwear separate from anything else, because I am paranoid about cross infection. Keisham, I am sorry to hear about your discomfort. Kerry is right, though, cleaning the old pipes is an excellent start, and repopulating with good bacteria is essential. |

Stop!!!! Don't do it!!! I already can't use chopsticks EVER again, Don't mess with my "Shish Kabob".
"Melodramatic serial soap opera music...." Never again will I ever be able to sit and eat lo mein without thinking they are worms hanging from my chopsticks......Never again will I be able to sit with my dear friend Shish and enjoy his delicious kabobs without thinking of the large strips of "beef" that Christie has passed.......and NEVER again will I sit with a cup of hot boiled "peanuts" and I definitely will not suck the juice. Will Lurking Lisa break down and order colonix? Could Keisham's irritable bowels be caused by a belly full of hot boiled peanuts, "celery strings" and ropes of love? Is Angtonio hosting Swimfest '06? Stay tuned until the next episode of "As the Worm Turns". I really shouldn't be talking trash. Who know's what'll come outa me and DH. ![]()
