Morningstar Farms has hot dogs again
 

Morningstar Farms has hot dogs again.

I got some about a month ago. They aren't quite as good as the old ones and you get less for more $$ and they are in a box in the frozen section by the other MSF products.

Just thought I'd mention it.

I definitely agree. The ones they used to sell in the shrink-wrapped hotdog package were much better. I was pretty disappointed. I don't care for Smartdogs or the Tofurkey brand ones either. :( I do like the Torfurkey brats as a substitute, but they always fall off my hotdog stick!

I heard that Field Roast hot dogs are good, but I can never find them, only the sausage types.

As for Tofurky, the one I like is the sliced hickory smoked kind...but that's just for a sandwich type wrap. I didn't care for smart dogs or tofurky dogs or any of the other ones I have tried. I think it was tofu pups instead of tofurky dogs, but they are probably very close to the same thing.

Try the VeggiePatch hot dogs. Best veggie dog I've ever had! Most Wal-Mart's have them, located in the same section with Morningstar. Their corndogs are pretty yummy too!!

I did try the veggie patch, but the garlic in them did me in. I have an allergy to garlic. I can eat something if it has tiny amounts in it, but only once in a great while. Most of the time, it tears up my stomach.

Also, the corndogs aren't low carb, unfortunately.
