Amy's veggie burgers
 

Have any of you tried these? What do you think about them?

I like Amy's All American burger. At 10 G effective carb, it's a bit too carby for me since I've gone LC.

I haven't tried them, but simply because they have garlic. In fact, every Amy's product I have read the ingredients has garlic and I can't tolerate it. I love it, but it don't love me.

Try the Sunshine Burgers...I think you will like them.

Are the Sunshine Burgers gluten free? I haven't seen them in the stores. The Morningstar burgers contain wheat. I love garlic though and don't have problems with it. What does it do to you? A friend of mine is allergic to garlic and her throat can even close up. So scary!

My condolences, Nigel! I LOVE garlic and it would make me so sad if I couldn't have it.

Star73, it gives me the runs and great stomach cramping and distress...almost like getting food poisoning. No food is worth that.

Gosh Nigel, that's awful! Gluten affects me that way. I agree that no food is worth that distress..

Yes, the sunshine burgers are gluten free, according to their website. I don't have any right now, so I can't read the box.
I found them at Whole Foods which is about 100 miles from where I live, but hopefully I'll be going around the first of next month to stock up again.
