Russell Stover Sugar Free Chocolate Covered Peanuts

Cheap, only $1.50 per bag and way better than the atkins faux m&m's

the chocolate is milk chocolate and serving size is 25 pieces for 2 net carbs....Great for my sweet tooth today.

Isopure Unflavored Whey Protein

Almost tasteless. I made a strawberry smoothie with it today. I like it. I don't like most protein powders, but I can live with this one.

Chez Marie Veggie Patties

These were okay...made from mushrooms, brown rice, and various other stuff.

11 carbs per patty

Even thought the patties are quite thin, one was pretty filling.

You have to cook them frozen cuz they fall apart once they are thawed, which I find is the case with several varieties of veggie burgers.

I also got a faint sweet taste...not sure what that was from. I think these would make good "steaks" with gravy on them, better than a burger replacement.

I finally made some Quinoa.
It's delicious. I don't know why it took me so long to try it.

I made it in the rice cooker--got the idea from my Sis who eats it every day for breakfast.

I'm making a breakfast casserole with egg beaters, cheese, broccoli, mushrooms and quinoa...can't wait to see how it turns out.

If anyone eats rice, this was really good. Quick to make, is prepacked in 4 pouches so it is really convenient too! I added a tbs of chia seeds to mine as well.

I just bought some of this, but haven't made it yet.
Thanks for the review.
It was $1.99 at super walmart which I thought was a good price.

Thanks for the tip about adding chia seeds..I will follow your example.

Low Carb Foods Hamburger Bun
I think it was 2 net carbs

I toasted it and it got pretty hard, but still edible...next time, less toasting.

It was okay..no flavor really, but it felt like I had a veggie burger.
I will probably just have these once in a while...I've gotten so used to eating a veggie burger on a lettuce bun.

Low Carb Foods Hot Dog Bun...held 1 1/2 of the 365 veggie dogs and the taste was ok, a little dense but I can live with it.

I just wish they came pre-sliced. The hamburger buns aren't sliced either.

Ciao Carb Proto Pasta
7 net carbs

I am not sure if I like this or not...I cooked it for 15 minutes as the pkg suggested and it was still so very, very chewy. The taste was okay.

Next time I will try cooking it a lot longer and see what happens.

I like that it has 30 grams of protein in one serving.

Low Carb Foods Pizza Crust 7"
net 2 carbs for the whole pizza

The crust is ok...didn't think it would fill me up but I had a salad with it and I was stuffed.

It tastes kind of like a cracker crust, but I can live with that to have a "real deal" type of pizza again.

LC Bakery Bagel

Not bad. I had half with butter and cheese and the other half with butter and s/f jam.

It was nice to have a bagel again.

I like these products so much that I placed another order today for some more and for some other type of buns--ThinSlim. Can't wait til they get here to see which brand tastes better. The carbs are about the same, 2 per serving which to me is nothing.

And best of all no more buying lots of ingredients to try and come up with a decent bread replacement which I don't have time to experiment with right now anyway. Happy me.

LC Bread Company Plain Bread

Not bad. The slices are small, but at least its bread.

Thin Slim Buns from Netrition:

These are better than LC Bakery buns and the same amount of net carbs=2.

If you are wanting a "real" bun for your burger, this one will make you happy.

A & W Diet Root Beer:

I don't drink much in the way of diet sodas, but I had a craving for root beer.
I haven't had one in years, so I thought I'd try these and they are very good.

Ages ago, I used to get S/F IBC Root beer. It came in a 6pk of bottles and they were great, but I couldn't find them this time, so I got A & W.

Now I'm thinking I could have a little root beer float with some lc ice cream...hmmm

New Hope Mills LC Pancake Mix:

I was surprised that this made fluffy pancakes and the carbs are very low too. I got full on one serving, so I'm happy about that purchase. I did add vanilla but I think it needs some more flavoring of some kind. Next time I'll tweak it up a bit and see how that turns out.

Thin Slim Hot Dog Buns:
I had two of these last night with 3 of the 365 veggie dogs. The buns are long enough for 1 1/2 hot dogs.
The package says guaranteed not to spike your blood sugar.
They only have 2 net carbs each and they taste a bit better than the Great Low Carb Bread Company's hot dog buns.

Yeah, I have tried lots of stuff over the years but I forgot to post it and then tossed the package and couldn't remember the name of it...lol

I am trying to post right away after I try something. It also works as a good guide for me when re-ordering or just for remembering if I liked something or not.

Atkinson'sSugar Free Peanut Butter Bars Candy:

These were okay...tasted much sweeter than the regular ones that are made with sugar, but it was nice to have something other than hard s/f candy once in a while.

Ener G Bread

I found this at Sprouts this weekend.
Small slices with only 2 net carbs each, but the crusts keep falling off of them. The taste is good, like regular bread.
This is also Gluten Free. It was expensive. $5.29 for 12 slices.

Yves Faux Juicy Beef patties:

Not bad...I got a 4pk for $5.98 at HEB

I had one on a multi grain flatbread last night.
I don't mind them...they don't really have much flavor by themselves but I always doctor up my burger patties.
