Please help with lab results

I have tried to read everything I can find but I getting more confused than anything. I am always tired! Even when I sleep in on the weekends I still take a nap and I nap almost everyday after work. I am having a hard time being productive. If anyone has any suggestions, I would really appreciate it.

Your reverse T3 is high (as I am sure you can see), which is taking up your T3 and leaving you nothing to go on. That's why you are so tired. I had the same issue.

If you can find a doctor to treat you, T3 only medication is the treatment.

Google Holtorf and reverse T3.

Your reverse T3 is too high. I bet you're being treated with Synthroid or another synthetic T4??? The problem with them is they make everything else look in range but your body can't convert the T4 to T3 properly for energy. Ask your doctor to switch you to a natural desiccated hormone (Armor, Nature-throid, etc.) I'm actually impressed that your doctor test for it. He/she is better than most!

If that's not the problem, a low-carb diet can increase Reverse T3 in some people. I'm betting it's how you're being treated though.

First of all, thank you for the reply. I actually ordered the tests myself as I have always been told my thyroid is normal but have been skeptical. I am not on any medication what so ever. My diet could've been low carb at the time of the blood work as I diet fairly frequently. Another forum told me to try L Tyrosine which I did for a few days but didn't get the desired results. I might not taken it long enough but idk.

That's interesting that you're not on meds and the only thing off is the RT3. I would expect your free T3 to be lower. I guess do some research on your situation like suggested above. Did a Dr order the lab with the results you posted? If so, what's his diagnosis and treatment plan? High RT3 makes you feel hypo even tho your other numbers are fine. I agree you probably need to take a little T3

Some other supplements that are really important for thyroid are selenium and zinc. I take them daily. Hope you feel better soon!
