What test should I ask for?

I was diagnosed with hypothyroid years ago..however, it has been a constant struggle to get my medication correct and at times I have gotten frustrated with the entire process and just taken myself off of them.

I have been going to a endo now for a good year now. I have been on multiple mixtures of medicines including synthroid, then snythroid with cytomel and now synthroid with nature throid

I called my doctor after the 3 months on they last mixture of pills to tell her that my hair was feeling kind of waxy, and falling out a bit, I was extremely tired, my muscles were hurting and I was gaining weight.

She sent me for labs and said they were fine. Well, I've had enough so I am going to two other doctors for second opinions. What test should I ask for?

This is what she always tested me on:

4/16/12 T4 Free 1.0, TSH 0.46 T3 Total 170

7/26/12 TSH 0.20

8/13/12 T4 Free 0.9, TSH 0.57, T3 Total 91

10/18/12 T4 Free 1.1, TSH 0.07, T3 Total 92

12/17/12 T4 Free 0.8, TSH 3.65, T3 Total 90

2/22/13 T4 Free 1.1, TSH 0.02, T3 Total 125, T3 Free 3.5

5/17/13 T4 Free 1.1, TSH 0.30, T3 Free 2.8

6/24/13 T4 Free 1.0, TSH 0.8, T3 Free 2.9

8/9/13 T4 Free 1.4, TSH 0.3, T3 Free 3.5

lab ranges for the results?
The thyroid labs done look bad at all.

I'd ask for RT3.
sex hormones
Vit D,
B-12 though im reading lately the one can have high b-12 and not be methylating it properly.

Stop the thyroid madness has a page of labs you could suggest and use.

Too bad that all those times she ran a FT4 and TSH, she didn't run FT3 instead of Total T3. Geesh. Free T4, Free T3 (NOT totals) and TSH if they must (and they usually do).

Do you have any more info or resources on this? I had high B-12 but my doc is attributing it to my multivitamin. Could be, but I'd love more info.
