noob here
Hello! My first post here, I hope to get to know some of you here and join in the discussion.
I have been hypo since 2002 when I had surgery to remove my thyroid. I gained 60 lbs in the 6 months after my surgery, going from 126 to 186. Since then I really haven't done anything about it and l'm finally ready to do something. I have tried other things but quit because they just didn't work. Before being hypo, my metabolism was terrific, now it is terrible! Since starting this diet, I realize I don't have much support, I know they don't mean it, but I think everyone is just waiting for me to fail. I take 3-4 grain of Armour thyroid a day. My biggest fear is they will run out of Armour. |

Welcome!
Are you feeling well on that dose? We can look at labs that you have done to help sort this out. Getting familiar with your labs really helps. Get a copy of each panel you have done, then you can keep track where you feel well. Eating low carb has really help me... |
