Labs Results / Any advise?

I just got some results back and wanted to see could give me their feedback on some questions I have.

TSH Reflux: 3.109 (range .30-4.0)
Free t4: 0.94 (o.84-1.51)
T3 Reverse: 140 (90-350)
T3 Free: 3.8 (2.3-4.2)
Thyroid Peroxid (Anti-TPO): 246.8 (0-60)
Thyroglob AB (TgAB): 50.8 (0-60)
Medications: Cytomel / Synthroid
Diet: Gluten Free, Sugar free, Nutrient Dense Whole Foods

Any suggestions based on my labs? Should I raise my T3 to get TSH to less than 1 on the range.
Does anyone have any experience switching from Synthroid to Armour? Will this lower anti-TPO’s?
How does one balance their adrenals?
Do unbalanced cortisol levels have any affect on thyroid antibodies?

I look forward to hearing from you.

I'm not sure about the switch, you don't say how long you've been on your current dose. I hear most do much better after switching to Armour. Certainly it would seen that your TSH would need to come down.

How do you feel?

You might want to speak to your dr about the Ft4 level. It appears you are low on T4 but T3 level seems okgood!.

as asked. How long were you on the current level/combo and how much are you taking of ea.

Low thyroid hormone can affect your adrenals. According to those labs, The T4 is still way low...That too can affect adrenals as much as poor diet /too low cals or excessive exercise. how old are you and have you had your sex hormones tested.

ps. I'd try and optimize on the current combo and when stable, if you want, switch to amour or even NP Thyroid .. but with all the problems with it, id do it latter than now.

Thanks, for the information! I have been on the this dosage for 8 weeks. My previous dosage left me way too hyper in the T3 range, so my cytomel was reduced. But I feel terrible in the month or so, major water weight gain and I have stopped exercising because I feel so lethargic.

I am 36 years old, and have taken thyroid meds since I was 12 (diagnosed with hashi's at 12).

My current dosage:

Synthroid: 125mg
Cytomel: 10mg (5mg taken in morning, 5mg taken in evening) I started taking both doses in the morning because forgot many times to take the second dose in the afternoon. My previous dose was 12.5mg.

when you tested, was it with the 'double dose'
and how long did you wait from taking that dose to test?

The first time I took the test in early June, when my T3 was hyper, I probably took my dose fairly close to the lab time.

This second time, it wasn't a double dose, and it was late in the afternoon from taking only my synthroid and 1 cytomel 5mg in the morning.

I felt much better with my T3 at 12.5 mg.
