Las Vegas Doctor

Looking for any information on the following doctors in Las Vegas for a friend:

Dr. Nwokik e
Dr. Iqbal
Dr. Ostrowsky

Her insurance does not cover my wonderful doctor (and he does not take cash patients). She is trying to escape a guy that keeps testing TSH and telling her all is well. History of thyroid in her family, and symptoms galore on her end.

I appreciate any thoughts anyone might have. She is also willing to travel--Los Angeles is not far.

Ostrowsky isn't very good. Hubby went to see him and he was very condescending and didn't know 1/2 of what I knew about hormones! I don't recommend him at all. I don't know anything about the other 2.

maybe try come compounding pharmacies for suggestions?

I just saw Nwo**** for the first time last week. I too have all the symptoms but "normal" TSH.

She isn't the friendliest doctor but she is thorough. She tested me for EVERYTHING! -thyroid, hormones, vitamin deficiencies, even a glucose test and thyroid ultrasound.

I am now waiting for test results and will make appointment for follow up. I will post how she is then.

I heard of complaints of long wait times in her office but I didn't experience that. It was quick to get an appointment, not a long waiting time at check in, and probaly waited about 15 minutes once in a room.
