Need an AMAZING TOP thyroid/bio hormones doctor

Hi! I've been lingering on this forum for a few months now. I am experiencing tons of wierd personality changes and physical symptoms and know they are a result of my thyroid being out of wack and my crazy menopausal hormones/ messed up adrenals at age 28.

I live in Florida where the drs basically suck. lol Pam had suggested Dr. Dach was pretty much the best here.

But I'm wondering if anyone knows of a better dr in another state nearby? Georgia maybe? Or even a state that is just in the East!

Does anyone know of a dr who really concentrates and understands and treats the link between thyroid causing phychiatric conditions/symptoms?

Thanks SO much!

I don't think you can go wrong with Dr. Dach. I'm pleased with my current doctor(s) but I would love to find someone like him here in Texas. He's a perfect combination of western and eastern medicine. At this point I'm seeing my DO, a Naturopath and Acupuncturist.

The fact that Dr Dach looks at the whole body is gold. With your concerns that is what you need. So many Drs will RX the symptoms without looking at the big picture. And believe me, there's a big picture.

You also need to educate yourself as best possible. I highly recommend the book Why Do I Still Have Thyroid Symptoms? When My Lab Tests Are Normal: A Revolutionary Breakthrough In Understanding Hashimoto's Disease and Hypothyroidism. I read several books, blogs, forums, ect and I had a good idea, or at least a basic understanding, that there was some metabolic issues/derangement that were holding me back. I was already several months in to changing my diet, sleep habits, ect when I got this book but it really validated everything I was doing and gave me even more information. Very detailed, which I love.

Good luck!
