Seeing Dr. Tommorrow, hoping for a good experience!

Just wanted to say that after feeling super fatigued, I think my thyroid is acting up again, and I'm going to ask for all of my levels to be checked.
The first doctor who diagnosed my Hypo didn't tell me he was testing my levels, called me when the results came in and said, "You're TSH is high, which means you're hypothyroid, I'm putting you on Synthroid."
I asked him how this could have happened with me being so young, and he said "I don't know, normally I don't see it in young people, but I suspected from your weight and dry skin" <-- thanks for mentioning that during the appointment.
No T4 or T3 checked, just the TSH, and only Synthroid.
I took myself off it after feeling the same yet getting better TSH levels, and was able to balance it through natural, homeopathic ways.
Now, I want some answers.
Sorry for the rant, I just hate going to the Dr.

My suggestion is to make sure they run not only the TSH as most do but also the Free T4 and Free T3. It's not a bad idea to get the TPO Antibodies tested as well.

I'd look into a full blood workup, could be Hashimoto's Thyroiditis, not just hypothyroid. Read up on it and see what you think. I just started Synthroid this week for my Hashi's and I'm only 31.
