Hi all
i have been wondering about my thyroid so i am going to post my first test here. i had a year ago. Pam has aleady help me and still is . just wondering if the test is for real that i do have a thyroid problem. becouse i have read that a lot of you felt like crap and has trouble geting out of bed.. etc. i never felt that way. i just started to see that my hair was geting thinner and i had gained some weght with in a 3 to six month period and i eat when ever. i was not obest. beside me having menaouse at a early age. and another thing that has been on my mind i have read is that some people has mental problems and a thyroid problem. just becouse you have a thyroid problem does not mean that every one is a mental case. and that the thyroid gets out wack for many reasons right. so her is my first results Ttosterone, free Direct o.8 (0.0-2.2) Free Testosterone (direct) estradiol 46 (19-528) tHYROXINE T4 FREE , dIRECT,S 0.92 ( 0.61-1.76) DHEA-Sulfate 217 (32-240) tsh 0.998 (0.350-5.500) Progesterone 0.8 Triiodothyronine,free ,serum 3.0 (2.3-4.2) Thank you. |

FT4 and FT3 that low would be a problem for me. Although the TSH is low, the FT3 isn't 'adequate' and neither is the FT4. Many of us have both menopause early (I was 39) and hypothyroidism. Your estradiol and progesterone are very low (menopause) as well as testosterone. As long as you get bioidentical hormones, you can be replaced for those as well.
