I can't Log in chat

Please would someone tell me why I can't log in chat. It won't let me type in my name.I am logged in here but when the little box comes up to type in name I can't . Help please!

i had no problems but make sure you have all the stuff listed on your computer before you can chat

There were certain kinds of Java I believe
