Why is Netrition's price on Atkin's more than Walmart?

I Love Netrition, but I just had to have some of the new Atkin's cookies and bars so I went to Walmart. I kept the reciept to compare prices to Netrition and I was shocked that Netrition was more.
For example, Dark Chocolate Decadence Bar 5pk is 5.48 at Walmart while Netrition has them for 6.69.
I figured shipping versus gas to drive was a wash.
What's up with that?

Ask Netrition?
Seriously I can imagine the "bulk" pays into it a lot. Walmart probably buys oodles more than other stores that carry the products. Or they just have a better contract.

Netrition provides a great place to purchase many things that are not available locally, which will vary depending on where you live.

Walmart has cheaper prices than almost anyone on almost everything they sell, mostly because they have been so effective in driving wages down where they open stores, and keeping employees to a "part time" status that avoids having to give them benefits like health insurance. They are hardly a model of good corporate citizenship! People turn a blind eye because they like the cheap prices, but it's a bit of an act of violence to your community to shop there.

Wal~mart is cheaper because they have associates in each store and in the Home Office who search out prices in every market and change their prices to be lower. (That used to be my job when I worked ) Also, the bulk thing is true. They buy BILLIONS of those bars and can therefore get better prices. Also, if you find an item advertised at a lower price, take the ad into the store and Wal~mart will give you the lower price.

That being said, I totally agree with what Raven said.

If that is the case, why is soda always more expensive that the regular grocery stores (sales, but there is always a sale)?

Some items are price regulated by the company itself. Say, Coke for example. But because other stores always have sales, you just take in the add and Wal~mart will give it to you for that price.

Seriously! Just take the ad to the cashier when you check out.
