How long has LCF been around?

Just wondering, I see some people have been members since 2000.

I began my journey Cindy in 2000 and LCF was here at that time.....I think it was relateively new. It was too fast a moving board for me so I hung out at a smaller board for a long time.

I joined when I started doing lc in 2002. I didn't know very much about it really, and learned a whole lot, actually got the Dr A books, and then what happened..hmmmm.. got lazy, got sloppy - and quit visiting the board too ...

now i'm here to stay - even tho i'm where i want to be weight-wise today - if I were to put the scale away, and quit logging in here most days...well... i'd be afraid of where i'd be 6 or 8 months from now!

I've been here since 2001. I have spent plenty of time away but the time I spent checking in and coming here everyday, the better I did with my weight loss.

The site was opened in Oct. '99 by Magnus and 808State. They ran a website business, Magnus was on Atkins and couldn't fnd a good site for support and help, so she developed this one. I was told about it about 2 weeks after it opened and have been here ever since.

We had a lot o fun in chat back then, didn't we Baxter?

You can see why I was puzzled. Your join date says June 2002, but now I know better, Oct 99.

It would be really lovely to have 'history' of LCF Sticky...this is such a wonderful site.

Due to different BB software, those that were here prior to the change had the 'join date' changed to the date of the new software. Ergo, the confusion.
