I'm married so I would not be participating but I think it's a good idea.
I know that when I was still single at 27, I didn't have any unmarried friends my age to talk about dating with. Of course I could tell amusing stories to my married friends, but it just wasn't the same as talking to other single people. As for the potential for "matches" to be made here, I always thought it would be cool to see some of the beautiful, kind hearted single ladies here hook up with the funny, handsome single men here. Maybe I am just a romantic Dating sites cost money and are lame. Here, people expect that you have a weight struggle, and you at least have one other thing in common - a low carb diet.![]() |

Looking to date a low carb man
I am a single 30 year old living in Chicago. I first started eating low carb in 2003 and lost 70lbs within 1 year. I was able to keep it off while dating until I found myself in a relationship and gaining weight fast. After we broke up I dating for a long time, still eating badly but trying to stay on a low carb diet. Eventually I was eating anything I wanted and loving it. Here I am now 100lbs heavier, and havent wanted to date in over a year. I would love to find someone who eats low carb, so we can keep eachother on track.
