When a thread is moved...

Where does it go? Is there a way to tell/find out?

Sorry if this has been asked a million times.

If it is "deleted", i.e. moved to somewhere where we cannot access it, then you will not be able to read it without the correct moderator privileges, otherwise, normally when it is moved a redirect is left in it's place to show you where it has gone.

If you click on the thread in the original place you'll jump to the thread in its new home. Now scroll up to near the top of the screen, and just above the box with User Control Panel, Blogs, FAQ etc, you'll see the "path" to where the thread is now.
