Recipes on this site
It would be really helpful if we knew which phases each recipe was for on this site. I'm in induction and don't really know which recipes are suitable for induction. When I asked this question on the message boards everyone told me to goto Linda's website. What good does that do for this website? Just a suggestion and thanks so much!

For the time being if you see a recipe that interests you:
start by checking the ingredients list against your allowed foods list. If all the ingredients fit then check against how many of your 20 carbs you can allot to the meal the recipe is for. You'll find the ingredients list becomes much easier the more you do it. The unallowed foods will kind of jump out at you. It's hard to designate recipes "for induction" because it becomes "which induction"? For example induction now is more liberal than in 1992. HTH. . |

Not to mention there are so many different plans represented on this forum - south beach, atkins, protein power, etc, etc.
The best way to see if you can use a recipe is to see if it has any ingredients not on the acceptable list for the particular phase of your plan. ![]() |
