Changing Avatars

Is there a way we can do seasonal/holiday changes that do not affect every post ever made? (like not having x-mas at 4th of July, etc.)

No- it changed the one I used when I first joined ( diet dr pepper bottle) to this winter one. Son said the cost to save the avatars so it would not delete an old one was prohibitive. Thanks anyway!

I change all the time, never save them on my computer and they cost me nothing. I don't understand what he is taling about. I have several on my photobucket.

It's not the cost to me- I have oodles of pics in my pc. Rather, it is the cost to the web site owners for the band width and storage space. A small server's cost would be around $2000.00 a month for that- larger ones, $10,000.00 or more.

It's not really a cost issue. The software was simply written to store one avatar per person and that one picture gets displayed on every post.
You can change it as frequently as you would like though.
