Here are some directions I typed up to help you all put a picture into a post...

Here is how to put pictures in posts...

You need to upload them to the internet first.
A couple of free hosting sites are: photobucket.com and tinypic.com and
ImageShack® - Hosting I use imageshack because it works the best I think.

Once you've uploaded the picture through one of those sites, or your own, copy the URL (properties) for the picture and place it between the image tags like this (but leave off the *) :

[*img]yourpictureURL.jpg[/img]

Another way (and a short cut) is to click on the symbol in this picture and when the popup comes up just copy and paste the http addy from the properties where your picture is save in and hit OK.. it will put the img's on there for ya!

and your image will show up in your post

I've had some instances of weird and inconsistent displays of images that I have inserted in messages. In particular, in post weight training without going to the gym??, I inserted an animated gif. At times, it will display correctly, other times, the display shows a small box with a red (x), indicating a bad link and at other times aliens show up in a star wars graphics unrelated to the actual graphic. The actual graphic does exist in the link given.

Is my life haunted by aliens? Am I just another bad driver? Any suggestions?

It looks like exrx.net is purposely doing that to the images you are trying to post. I would take that to mean they don't want you posting their images, so you shouldn't do it without their permission.

Can you just upload to the album option here and display those images in a post?

Yes you can create an album and then link to it in your post..

Also.. if you click on reply to post and not use the quick reply window you can type your message and attach thumbnails of your photos that are on your computer.. just scroll down to the bottom of the page and click on manage attachments.. a window will pop up and you can browse your computer and attach your pictures there. They will show up as thumbnails and people can click on them to see the full size picture.
