How to report a thread or post... a heads up!
We wanted to let everyone know that we really appreciate your help when reporting a post or thread that is offensive or against the TOS of this site. We also want to make sure everyone knows that we admins really try hard to make this site a comfortable environment for all.... But... We want to make clear that we also can not open each and every thread. This would take an unbelievable amount of time. That is why we need YOUR help! If you need to report a thread or post you can do so by going to the offending post and clicking on the the red triangle icon with the exclamation point
that is on the bottom left of every post. This will send a message to the admins that there is a problem there. Please do not assume that we admins are allowing things to go on... or are playing favorites by deleting your post and not someone else's. The simple fact is.. if a thread or post is there that is against the rules of the site then an admin hasn't SEEN it yet. So please... when reporting a thread.. do so in a nice, respectful manner. We don't like it when people report things in a rude manner because they are assuming we are "letting" a thread go on that is offensive... or that we are letting one person post something and not another. So please just say that there is a problem on the thread and let us admins go in and do our job. We can do without the condescending comments.. This is also happening a lot at the help desk and we just want it to stop... its very disconcerting to get such a report when you work so hard for the site and then are accused of seeing a post and just not doing anything about it. We promise we are working hard for all of you because we love this site and want it to be a pleasant place for everyone to visit. We appreciate your interest in the well being of the site. It is assuring to know that we have members who are concerned about the safety of our other users. We encourage you to continue to report all questionable behavior to us. This will give us the chance to look into the situation and take action where warranted. Thank you for being part of the Lowcarbfriends community... cheri ![]() Adding in a link to the terms of service.. http://www.lowcarbfriends.com/policies.html
