With the changes made to this forum....

is there any way to see if the people on a buddy list are currently online as with before (the yellow lightbulb) without having to go find one of their recent posts and check on there? And, is there a way to simply click on their name on the buddy list to send a pm? or do I have to always go to the 'send a new message' section and type in their name. The buddy list doesn't seem to have much of a use now if we can't do these things..or am I missing something? (LOL..wouldn't be the first time..hahahahaha )

Thanks...Mandy

Right near the bottom on the left side...is a circle and a triangle...the circle when lit says the person is on line.

I think the point that Mandy Dee was trying to make, is that whilst yes, you can view a list of your buddies, and yes you can go to a post that a friend has made and see if they're online, you're currently unable to do both at the same time (i.e see if they're online from your buddy list) nor are you able to PM them directly from your buddy list.

It's all altered a bit.... if you Hit quick links, then open buddy list from the top of this message, then by clicking on their little "green dot" to see if they're online, there is a further link to send them a PM.

And if you read someone's interesting post, you're no longer able to click on PM directly from their post. Instead, click on their name and a popdown menu will appear where you can select to PM them

Peskie is correct... Hit "Quick Links" in upper right, then "Open Buddy List" to see your buddy list to view who's online/offline and you can PM them from there if you'd like.
