Who's the "webmaster" for this site???
I was just in the recipe room and I was wondering... with sooo many people on Induction and that is where we all start, why isn't there a catagory for Induction recipes in the recipe rooms?? That sure sounds like a GREAT idea to me and it would help ALOT of us out. Who agree's???

Besides the work involved ... I can think of a good reason:
Part of the deal of being on Atkins is learning how to live a low-carb lifestyle. That means -- reading labels, comparing recipes, calculating net carbs, etc. Learning to select recipes can be a part of that process. |

I agree with LindaJ in that it would be a tremendous amount of work for someone. Not only that, but different people use different amounts of carbs for dishes on Induction. For instance, some may try to get all of their carbs from veggies, where as some of us may only get 1/3 from veggies.
It will help you greatly if you learn to read the labels and make the decision based on your lifestyle. It doesn't make it easier, but once you are out of Induction, you still have to live it. Best of luck. |

there is a "Suggestions for the Webmaster" board. You may want to post your idea over there.
its a good one and its something I would like to see as well. Lisa |

My goodness
Allow me to clarify my previous post... Of course we need to "learn" how to live our low carb lifestlye, that is certainly a given. As far as reading labels, etc, how could you even start on Atkins without being willing to do so.
My post was simply about the recipe rooms. When you go there the sections are on everything from apps to main courses, how hard would it be to add in an Induction section. Why would this be so much work for one single person ladies?? Those recipes come from us all, they are recipes that we make up or ones we come across as we go along. We post them in the sections. I'm not saying one single person go and come up with recipes for Induction for heaven sakes. I'm simply suggesting that if they would add an Induction catagory people could go and post their recipes that they came up with during their time on Induction. Whether you use the recipe or not is your choice. I mean I don't know about you but I have had a tough time on Induction and if I had a place to go to, in the recipe room, to post the neat ideas I came up with and it could help some one else starting on Induction, I think that would be great. Isn't that what this site is all about, helping one another??? Induction isn't always a "two week" "event" some of us are on it for several weeks or even months. Off again, on again. If we had a place to post our Induction ideas it would be a convenient way to help newbies or give new ideas to us that continue on it for several weeks. With that said and hopefully clarifing my point... Good day to all. Thank you Lisa, hopefully this will work. -Patti ![]()
