Stillmans for How Long?

Hi!

For those who are doing Stillmans -- how long do you do Stillmans until you take a break? And then go back into the Stillmans wagon again?

I read that this is not designed to be a long-term plan so I am curious.

I'd stay on Stillmans forever if I could, but it's so darn hard and restrictive

I did a month stint back in April and dropped 14 lbs, but in all honesty I was strict to the tee for 10 days, and had a few off days here and there, but mainly followed Stillmans the rest of the time.

How long have you been on and how much have you lost?

Nothing works better for me for weightloss, but takes a huge mental focus to stay the course.

I've been on Stillmans for 5 weeks. The first month I lost a lot of weight (but I am also very obese so I know most of that was water weight) and the last week only 1 pound.

I like to stay on it for long periods of time. The only thing I might modify is upping the vegetables like we do on the weekends.

I actually do not think Stillmans is all that restrictive but I am used to plain and boring food

Well done on the weightless! how much have you lost so far - oh I see you add fat on the weekends and veggies, that would make it easier.
I did it strictly by the book, with no veg or dairy and no added fat, so I found it harder to stick to it

Hi!

Yes, on the weekends, I eat burger, salmon, so higher fat. I also have around 1/4 cup whole milk on coffee per day, plus almond milk. And sugarfree gelatin. And sometimes, cheese. So yeah, Stillman-ish but not quite. I ate vegetable too -- non-starchy ones. I feel like this is a way of eating I can stick to.

Hi Peace!

I like boring and bland food too! That's why Scarsdale Diet in the past, and this Stillman-ish plan I am doing are working (crossing fingers!) for me.
