Count me in too! Was in a bad car accident last October and have gained over 50 pounds from not being able to exercise...was just given the green light last week to return to physical activity and Lord knows I have GOT to get this weight off me...

Today's starting weight 234.5

Planning on doing 30 days of hardcore Stillman's and will be posting my daily menus on here for accountability if you all don't mind...

Any tips, hints, suggestions or recommendations would be gratefully appreciated!

4 ounces black coffee
1 Tablespoon of Friendship 1% cottage cheese
32 ounces of plain water

32 ounces of water

Dinner 8 medium boiled shrimp (plain) with just a smidge of cocktail sauce

1 One Day Women's Over 50 multivitamin before bed

Let's DO this!

Good evening everyone! I had a crazy drill day today. I accidentally didn't get off at my exit, and I didn't realize it until I kept driving another 20 minutes. I almost was late, but luckily, I made it on time!

I decided last night to have an off meal plan to end February. My goal for the month us to stick 100% Stillmans. I had three eggs for breakfast, a slice of chicken for lunch from a restaurant, and extra lean jennie-o turkey. I didn't have as much water as I would have liked, but I'm drinking some now before bed.

Day 1: 176.4lbs

I think because I didn't drink as much water yesterday, it showed on the scale as a very little loss. I'm very surprised, so I'll be drinking my water today that's for sure! I'm going to bring two bottles with me to drill today.

Breakfast will be three hard boiled eggs, and I'll munch on extra lean ground chicken the rest of the day. I made them in my whoopie pie tin, which I think are perfect. I was able to leave some in my car last night, and snack on two of them on the way home. Surprisingly, they don't taste bad even with no spices. But I think they taste really good with hot sauce.

MARCH CHALLENGE
Day 1: 176.4lbs
Day 2: 176lbs

I do feel leaner, so hoping that once I down some water today the scale will show a better loss tomorrow.

I'll be working with a personal trainer 5x a week this month, mostly doing strength training. I will be adding in 15 minutes of cardio before my sessions, but depending on how losses are going, I may add more cardio.

I'm the type of person that won't show a loss if I do too much, so I think the strength training and minimal cardio is best with no more than 30 minutes of cardio, or 15-20 minutes of high intensity cardio. I've actually noticed I get more results vs. doing more cardio. I think that is why so many people who body build typically do less cardio, but at a higher intensity.

Your menu looks good! You can eat more eggs if need be. I actually buy the same eggs as you for the boost in Omega's. I've noticed I lose really well when I have those in my diet.

The only thing I'd ask is if you're eating enough? Seems to little food to me.

I also didn't drink enough water either. I find it harder on the weekends when I'm home. Plus I didn't really start until lunch time (had bacon for breakfast). Hope to see a bigger loss by monday. I'm not really incorporating exercise either. It's on my to-do list.... LOL (the list that i never look at)!

Happy Sunday! Everyone seems to be doing great! Congrats for all the weight loss's. That is AWESOME!
Yesterday's menu was:
Breakfast: 2 hard boiled eggs/black coffee
Lunch: 1 lean hot dog/1 hard boiled egg
Dinner: 2 lean turkey burgers
TON's of WATER!!!!!!
I really think pounding the water is really a key ingredient for this. Also feel it helps with hunger, although I don't mind this way of eating.
I'm going to weigh every Monday and have the results posted then. I'm feeling real better and my clothes already fit better. Super motivating. You all have a great Sunday and keep up the good hard WORK!

I totally agree AK...pounding the water seems to be a big part of flushing away the weight!

I also would like to know how many calories are in a pan friend 6oz. 93% lean turkey burger...seems to be conflicting numbers on all the websites I've visited....

And I have one more quick question...is it okay to have an occasional Laughing Cow Mini Babybel semi soft cheese wheel that's not reduced fat? Saw some Babybel gouda in the grocery store and the package said 80 calories a wheel but no carbs...will that cause me to fall out of ketosis?

And Kandi, awesome loss in only one day

6 oz raw or cooked weight?

4 oz raw would is 160 calories. So 6 oz raw would be 240. Not sure about cooked, but it would be more.... probably closer to 300 I think.

Hi youdontknowme---

Yes I've been eating cottage cheese...usually a couple of tablespoons in the morning and then a couple at either lunch or dinner...I've been buying the Friendship 1% but saw and then bought some Breakstone's zero fat that tastes pretty good too...

Good luck on the diet

Today went well for me.

B: 1/4 cup FF cottage cheese
L: chicken breast, no skin
D: 2 HB eggs and a piece of canadian bacon

140 oz. water
Took magnesium, potassium and a multi-vitamin mainly because I am fighting horrible leg cramps daily

I have been a lazydog today and we vegged catching up on season 4 of Walking Dead... we are junkies and started with season 1 last Saturday, watched all that was on Netflix and now bought the TV pass for season 4 on Amazon.

I really hope my weight is down tomorrow but TOM still is not here but I know it is due any day.

Good morning everyone! Due to drinking more water yesterday, the scale showed a nice drop of 1.5lbs for this morning.

MARCH CHALLENGE

Day 1: 176.4lbs
Day 2: 176lbs
Day 3: 174.5lbs

Now that the drill weekend is done, I can drink a lot more water and not worry about bathroom runs, lol. I still didn't have as much water as I would have liked. The only thing so far is I've been getting more restful sleep, but I wake up so freakin early!

Yesterday, I went to DD and got a coffee with 2-3 splenda, a splash of cream, and a sugar free shot of cinnamon. Breakfast was three omega fortified eggs, and the rest of the day I snacked on a package of extra lean turkey that I cooked up in the morning. Just a FYI but if you make the ground turkey in muffin tins, even minimally spiced, it makes it a lot more tolerable. I was able to take a wedge of low fat Laughing Cow Cheese and spread it on four of the turkey muffins - and they were sooo good that way! Go figure! I'm going to be buying me more of that. I think it was called Garlic and Herb.

Hope everyone is doing well on this challenge! I start personally training back up today. For this challenge, I'll be getting training done 5x a week.

G'morning everyone!

Just weighed and here are my numbers so far:

Day 1: 234.5
Day 2: 231.5
Day 3: 229.5

So tickled to be out of the thirties!!!

And to Kiley who asked me if my 6oz. turkey burger was 6oz. before or after cooking...it was after

And to IWasMadeThisWay who asked me if was eating enough...Honestly, I haven't been hungry at all from day one so it's been real easy to just eat around 550 calories each day...I've read that my metabolism might shut down because my body thinks I'm starving but the scale is still moving...have you had experience in this kind of situation and if so, any advice would be greatly appreciated

P.S. I'm also Type 2 Diabetic and on the 1st my am glucose reading was 147 and I'm thrilled to say that this morning it was 116

Have everyone has a fantastic day and stays strong

FP

Day 1. 157.0
Day 2. 156.8

Blah. Im working out really hard and I lost 12 pounds last month. The change in muscle is visible on me. Inches are coming off. So im not going to freak out. Plus, im going in the right direction. Im going to try to leave out the cottage cheese today. Interesting how we know exactly what is keeping us from losing but bc its on the food list, we try to act as tho, its ok. That cant be it. Whatever. I know id drop faster if I dropped the cc. So today, thats the plan
