I just wanted to tell the women on here who said something like "whenever I am tempted I just think about the scale tomorrow morning." That wasn't the exact quote... (sorry) but that's what I understood and I tell you, THAT THOUGHT has helped me so very much. I'll get a little craving for carbs or something sweet... and I think to myself... I REALLY wanna see a lower number on the scale tomorrow morning... and it keeps me going. SO THANK YOU for that!!!!!

Yes!!! I use that too, especially when my coworkers ask "Is that ALL you are going to eat?". LOL. I have lots of "stored energy" to keep me running!

Good Morning ladies, I have decided to put my mind into this again and will approach it all differently, I have alot of knowledge in low carbing, but even with all that if my mind isnt in it, I fail, I am now officially treating this like I should have been all along and that is a lifestyle change, SexyBack was very right in saying that she will never go back to the way she use to eat , and thats exactly how I personally need to approach as well, I have tendancy to go thru a diet hardcore hoping for amazing results only to end it all with a bag of chocholate (yea I said Bag ), I have absolutly no control (as sad as it is) when I am consuming Carbs, BUT i have all the control in the world on a low carb plan craziness, so anywho, today is the first day of the rest of my WOE life lol.

I weighed in at 209.4 today!

Mar 26 219.2 HolyMoly! I can't help but laugh. Part of the journey is learning about your thresholds right? So yesterday I completely went off Stills and did an Atkins-esque day. Low Carb, High Fat. It was also high sodium! I am learning more and more that my ability to tolerate sodium has changed since I have gotten older. True, I crave salt, as I have rather low blood pressure, but frankly, I have found I am MUCH more sensitive to salt now. WOW. I'm retaining like a camel! On the bright side, last night I made a fantastic Cheesy Chicken Alfredo Bake that my entire family ate (with seconds). It was very tasty. But I'm paying for it today. Regardless, I'm back on plan today, and drinking extra water.

Wanna know a secret? I don't record my "ups" in my online weight loss tracker, only my "downs". haha. I like the graph line to always be pointed down.

Kandi! I'm very happy for you! Are you going to stick with Stillmans?

Great idea in only recording your downs sexyback!!

I too am enjoying the simple process of getting to know how my body handles different things. Everyone is different. I find there are some days when I crave some carbs so bad. And if I wait until dinner let's say and have a little something like a banana.....I still lose. I do however stick with healthy carbs. The really sweet junk seems to make me I'll if I eat more than three bites. It is a process. We cannot get upset over a temporary gain cuz our bodies need time to adjust.its persistency over the long term. If you eat something you shouldn't don't beat yourself up mentally all day. Admit it was delicious and satisfying and move on. That's what I've learned to do and its a beautiful thing!!! Haha

LOL at the "retaining like a camel, seriously laughed out loud at work, hehehe Yes I am going to stick Stillmans for at least 2 weeks , I like u am learning lots of new things about my tolerances and have decided to at least do it to get where I am less uncomfortable and then begin adding back in some good carbs (minimally) I truly want to lose about 30 pounds before I find a maintenance plan lol.

Ugh, I have been off plan for 14 days.. the same amount of time I was ON plan! Trying to figure out what I should do. I am thinking a few things were slowing down my losses.. weight training, cardio, not drinking enough water, etc.

So I am working up a plan to get back on plan. My appetite is terrible since I've been off plan, and I loved that I was barely hungry when I was on plan after three days. Off to buy some lean ground turkey, and back on plan tomorrow! I'm def not going to weigh for a while, lol.

Current weight is 201.8 lbs.

Good morning everyone! No weigh in for me for until April 11th. I picked that day since that is the day I will get taped for the Army, so I figured, why not? My official weigh in to pass my weight is on May 2! I'm THIS close!

My plan for today is extra lean turkey and four eggs. So that's about 880 calories for the day, 25.5 fat, and 154 protein. Is anyone else eating this low and doing ok?

Either than that, pounding down the water and working out less. I'm just going to focus on my pushups, situps, and eventually running when it gets nicer out. I have to pass all those things on May 2, and so far I am sucking big time. The personal trainer I've used on and off for months really hasn't helped in terms of improvement in those areas. Kind of surprised.. the last time I used a trainer I was able to pass my army test in a month. But, I haven't even seen marked improvements since I've been working out with her since October, except for a month and a half break from training. So I will be doing situps a millions times a day, and pushups every other day in hopes of passing.

I usually end up about there in my calorie count. I operate fine with this. Some days I do higher when I add a bit more variety.

Well, I didn't make Onederland... But I had a loss of almost a pound. Down to 201 this morning.

So here are my total March stats:

March 13 - STARTED STILLMAN'S at 215.8 lbs
March 14 - 213 lbs
March 15 - 212 lbs
March 16 - 210.2 lbs
March 17 - 208.5 lbs
March 18 - 208 lbs
March 19 - 206.8 lbs
March 20 - 206.5 lbs. First week goal was an (arbitrary) 205, but I didn't make it.

March 21 - 206.6 lbs. Um, okay... Whatever. LOL
March 22 - 204 lbs. That's more like it!
March 23 - 203 lbs.
March 24 - 203.5 lbs OUCH!
March 25 - 202.8 lbs
March 26 - 201.8 lbs
March 27 - 201 lbs. No Onederland. So close, yet SO FAR. :-/

I know that in the grand scheme of two weeks, or even a week, I am doing great. But these couple pounds that will push me into the 100's are mentally feeling like ten times the effort of the other 14-15 lbs I have lost so far. Grrr!

Ok neat. I wasn't really sure if I should add in more eggs, or just stay where I'm at. That's a lot of protein already, and I'm downing water like crazy here.

Trying to figure out what to make with my other half of ground turkey later, hmm. I might try "frying" it up in some hot sauce for something different.

Oh! only a "break" from Stills. I'd like a salad. sheesh, I never thought I would say that EVER! And I'd like to have some bacon/sausage a few times without feeling guilty about it. So a "break" for me is a time frame where I would do more Atkins like LC. I don't think I will EVER to High Carb again. I see wheat as poison to my body, and potatoes, rice, and sugar as instant cravings and "fat". I'm thinking maybe 1-2 weeks, then back onto Stills. Or maybe I will have some Stills days, and some nonStills days. Provided I stay on track with my spreadsheet, you know. Because my spreadsheet is most important!

Look on the bright side! You have done fantastic! PLUS! You still have four more days until the end of march. (I call them bonus days! as I try and average a certain number of lbs lost per month, not per week).

WOE: "Primalified" Stillman's, plus JUDDD cycling.
Thanks girls. Im pretty positive today and THANKFULLY I don't seem to bounce up on Stillman's so even though it's agonizing getting into the 100's, I have reasonable faith that once I do, I'll be there for good. After breaking out of the 200's, my next mini-milestone will be 180 since that's what I was when I got married.

Totally failed on today. I will be more prepared tomorrow! On the plus side, I met my water goal for the day.

TMI but I had the WORST constipation experience of my life this morning. I have no doubt it was from eating off plan, and not drinking enough water. Even on Stillman's I have no issues going! But man... I didn't think I'd make it out alive, lol!

Another morning at 201 I am SO SICK of seeing "201" (really, 2-ANYTHING) on the scale. I am thinking it may be time to do a week of fat fast.

Ugh. Been there. Not on Stills, thankfully. Glad you made it out alive.
