Dunno what t25 is.

When you get closer to goal you stall more.

Having food prepared makes it easier. Boiled eggs, cooked chicken prevent bad things from happening.

Yay March is around the corner! Here in the desert that means swimsuit season begins, haha.

I'm down .5 today. Still hovering in the 188 zone.

I went to the store this morning and got some already done chicken... Fresh and Easy makes cooked strips without weird additives or any bonus ingredients. I've been eating a lot of eggs and yogurt and getting bored..... hopefully adding the chicken in will shake it up. I appreciate boredom.. but it was getting to be a little much!

My husband will finally be moving home this weekend. I am concerned about how it will effect my eating. We've lived apart for nearly six months- and things have changed a lot. I'm more routine and healthful, I don't eat out. We eat out A LOT together... I'll have to put a stop to that and come up with new ways to do date nights. We don't have kids, so we do a lot of date nights. Which equaled a lot of food in the past.

Plus, I spend more time at the gym and yoga than I did before. Granted, he loves to go to the gym himself- (we actually have different gyms- he only pays $24 a year for 24 hour fitness- and I go to the local gym because it's much cheaper than a membership at 24... plus the 24 here has terrible classes). BUT I'm sure he'll be miffed that I get up at 4am to go to yoga... and go to gym classes at night or for runs. But hey, I can't think myself fit. Tried... it didn't work!

I'm hoping for an amazing March and to be another 15lbs down (or more!) by my April 13th birthday. Not even my handsome persuasive husband will stand in my way :-)

Sarah, congrats on having the hubby home. I have finally got to where I can "FEED" my men (hubby and two lil boys) all the yummy food that I'd like to have. Cooking for them is almost theraputic in a sense to me. *Cheers* to a 15 pound march!!

YAY for Kandi!!! I will see u in march too - my 30 days end on March 8th, but as long as I am feeling ok, and still losing, I am going to keep going another 10 days after that. I see a march thread already started, so I will see you there in a few days!

Sarah, when me and my husband bought our house, we had to scale back a bit. I have a step son who is with us on wkds, but on the whole we too have lots of date nights! We ended up deciding to go out just once a week, and on other nights do date night in the kitchen...play fun music, cook together, and when its nice out, eat on our patio. Still fun, and gives me more control

Junebug, I've only recently started learning to cook (since I've lived alone and our budget has been smaller due to living apart) so I was thinking we could cook dinners together. We've always eaten separately- for the majority of our marriage we have had alternating work/school schedules and have never really been home in the evening together. That's almost four years of different meals! I think we have cooked together maybe (MAYBE) 2-3 times. But not only is he moving home... we will both be working from home... in the same office. So I'm sure we will be having more meals together... and I'm looking forward to it. Mostly to show off my skills I've picked up the last several months. I don't think he's ever seen me make eggs anywhere outside the microwave (yes) let alone touch raw chicken. He's in for a treat! A very low carb, protein rich treat.... hahaha. And I'm hoping living in Vegas we can find a lot of non-food related activities to do here. Our old town didn't have much aside from food.

I'm still at the same weight I was yesterday, but it wasn't a full Stillmans day either. I've been way to lenient with myself. Where did my strict motivation go!? I've tried so hard to not be OCD about diet that I'm leaning the other direction!!! Ugh. Let's try this again.

How much were you able to lose on your 30 day challenge? Your start weight is similar to mine right now (and close to my old HW) and your CW is the same as my goal (and my old LW).

I think last time it took me 2 months to lose 30-35 lbs so I am just seeing if other people have the same results... I was not always super strict so it may have taken me longer than most ppl.

Sarah sounds like you are in for a really fun new chapter together! I work from home too and find it makes a big difference with how I can eat, opposed to when I was in an office. I love that I can cook for lunch, and I go out less. Good luck!!! Have fun with the cooking!

Mar922 I am on day 21 of 30 days and I have lost 15 pounds. I havent cheated but probably could have drank more water, and watched the sodium, but, otherwise I really stuck to the plan. I have 9 days to go and would love to knock off another 5, but we will see. I also think if I am still losing at day 30, I will stick with the plan a bit longer. Then when I start to stall add in more fats for more of a Atkins 72 diet. Sort of playing it all by ear!

RIGHT?! I am the SAME way, lol. I think thats why this is working for me, nothing sounds good anymore (of what I can have) so I really do only eat when I am very hungry. Glad your joining in for March!

Yeah I hear you ladies on not really wanting to eat anything! Yesterday I made it a point to do a good stills day.... and I didn't eat anything else after 3pm out of sheer boredom.

But!!! I am at 186.9! 186SOMETHING! It's not very far into 186.... but it's there! I haven't seen that number in almost two years, maybe more. YESSSSSS. Good Stills days pay off! Here's to another!!!

I posted in March, but here is my final post for Feb, I am down 12 pounds as of 2/26 which completed my 30 day challenge, I could have done better but the first intial days i didnt do too well, as i was still eating somne veggies, then i took on about a 2 week stall, but none the less i still lost 12, I had my testing done yesterday and am waiting on my results, But i am beginning another 30 day challeng on March 1st and will be there daily to keep up, I will in fact be as strict as JuneBug, I am totally sold on her progress , Good luck to us all

I can't wait to weigh in for the start of this challenge. This is also my drill weekend so will have to not eat the lunch we get but pack. I bought some extra lean turkey so I will make that in the morning to eat.

How much protein is everyone eating? If I calculated right, I'd be around 150 grams of protein/840 calories.
