Tanya this is SO impressive! WAY TO GO! What are your plans for the last 10? Just curious. Also, would you mind telling us what your menu looked like before and after the stall? You certainly did get yourself losing again! I know some are dealing with stalls right now, and I am terrified of the inevitable stall that should arrive any day now How you changed your eating, with limited options, could prove very helpful! Enjoy the new you and best of luck in the home stretch!!!!!!!! YAY!

My new go to lunch or dinner is chicken soup - just chicken, low sodium broth, and some dill. Its nice and warm and satisfying.
Thank u, yes stubborn is an understatement but I'm goin all in these last 10days thank u so much and to u and ur progress

Does anyone use an app to keep track of their ratios? Protein/fat/carbs? Where do you find your best loss? I read on another site that you should strive for your daily ratios to be 90% protein. Thanks for your input. I had a hard boiled egg, grilled chicken breast (boneless, skinless) and baked tilapia in 99% fat free broth and my protein percentage is only 76 - I'm hoping that's okay.

Thanks!!

Hmm, im not sure, I dont have the book - but someone who does might be able to help you out! I dont count anything really...I just stick to the approved foods, and eat only till I am satisfied, and not stuffed. I know 6 small meals is recommended but I do 3 meals, I feel like snacking is a slippery slope for me! I track what I eat each day so I can reflect and hold myself accountable, and thats my only "tool" really...oh, and a well stocked fridge

Good morning ladies!

So while my husband visited I basically are myself stupid. We went to tons of nice restaurants for breakfast, lunch, AND dinner pretty much the whole time. How can you put fresh focaccia bread in front of me and ask me not to consume it?! Carb central.

So from Thursday to this morning, after an all-out carb-calorie-sugar fest I'm up 5lbs. Which, to be honest, is WAY BETTER than I anticipated haha. I did a hot yoga class this morning and am back on the Stillman train. I went shopping last night for chicken and eggs, and hard boiled one carton last night. My fridge smells SO BAD from the combo of hard boiled eggs and the salmon fish oil pump for the dogs. Grooooooss. If that's not enough to make me think twice about eating I don't know what is!

I will probably be sore from yoga, I'm too anxious to watch the scale drop so I will probably still weigh anyways. I enjoyed my class so much I think I'll go again tomorrow instead of just a couple times a week. Felt SO AMAZING to get back into it. I gotta start my marathon training this week to stay on schedule... so I'm sure I'll be sore from that too. I really need to work out the running/yoga so I'm getting enough of each.

Today will be.... you guessed it... eggs and some chicken! WOOHOO! I'll keep it at that for a few days and see what happens.

Todays weight: 193.3

Junebug, AWESOME 10lbs in 12 days. I would be SO stoked to hit that in 12 days from now!! I would be so close to the 170's!!!! I want to be in the 170's by the end of the month.... but I think that is really really pushing it. We'll see. I'd be cool with 170's in the first week of March.

Thanks Sarah I need all i can get , by late last night i was deep purple on my ketosis stick, didnt have nothing but water and 2 broiled pork chops with fat trimmed off, stopped eating at 8 and just knew I was gonna see the scale drop um yea no back to the 203.6 after being down 202.5 yesterday, my hubby says I will see it come off all at once but really, i been waiting now for 2 weeks, this is insane to me, am i that resistant ? idk im totally frustrated but having said that im on the downside of my 30 days and dont want to give up now, so i suppose i will just have to finish my 30 days with minimal loss i guess
But BIG CONGRATS JUNEBUG HAPPY FOR YA

Sarah you made me laugh about the stinky fridge! Boiled eggs in there are THE WORST! But oh so very convienent when you need them! Way to be prepared for the week! And way to get back into yoga - it just makes me feel light, and so then I dont want to stuff myself!

Kandi, question - what form of low carb do you do when you are not on stills? I am just curious, because maybe after 30 days you could try just increasing your fat. I just feel like sometimes my body responds really well to small high fat meals (low carb) so maybe switching to this after still will jump start something? I plan on returning to atkins 72 afterwards. Hang in there, you might get a nice drop off before the challenge is up! And, if its any comfort - I tend to see result 2 days later (if I mess up, two days later I pay...if I am perfect, 2 days later I might see a good drop). So hang in there!

Your ability to stay on plan consistently has always amazed me. I believe last time we were both doing stills at the same time was right before your wedding and you did so well then too, I wish I had your resolve!

Things are going well. I was in an all day meeting today so I just did regular low carb. Oh well I did the best with what I was given.

Thank u once again, i enjoy the encouragement it has really helped me stay motivated , I normally do Atkins, but i was reading in that atkins 72 i will probably go to that because i remember the very first time i ever did low carb it was with that book that I read, then as time past and I was tryin to get back on low carb , i realized i had been reading the newer books that came out, and they are a good bit different, however having said that with all the new wonderful meals and candies they have recently released, they have been a downfall too , at this point i think my body responds to the least little bit of carbs and stalls me, and it prob doesnt help that i tend to over enduldge at times lol... i am happy to report FINALLY A DROP THIS A.M.

Yay Kandi!!! It's moving the right direction!!!!

Well I didn't weigh myself.... I was too cold to undress haha. Plus TOM is here, so I'll just skip weighing in for a few days until it's closer to the end. That way (hopefully) I'll be nice and surprised with a big drop after my carb fest. Like a little weekend gift to myself.

But oh man TOM is making me HANGRY for something sweet and naughty!!!! I always keep Chobani yogurt tubes (for kids... hehe) in the freezer for such occasion but they are all gone :-( I don't shop until tomorrow, but I'll be sure to stock up. Those bad boys are a life saver. Not Stillmans, but still a nice little low(ish) carb high protein sweet delight. I don't think it's any worse than cottage cheese, yah know?

In any case.... many cups of coffee with a dash of SF creamer have (somewhat) stifled my desire to go out and bug an economy box of Hershy's from Costco. But we'll see.

YAY FOR THE DROP KANDI!!!!!!!!!!!! Bet you were smiling ear to ear!!!!! So good of you to hang in there for it when many would have given up!

Sarah, I know its not in the stillmans book, BUT, I have swapped out cottage cheese for the swiss lite laughing cow cheese wedges. I do like cottage cheese (actually I LOVE it, and was prob eating too much of it). The laughing cow wedges were not around when stillman wrote the book - but one wedge has less fat, cal, and carbs than cottage cheese. I go easy on them, I like to smear one on top of my plain burgers. OR if I REALLY need a non meat/egg snack, I just eat it alone. But I have tried to limit them. Not that I am promoting non-stillmans food, but, for what its worth...

Kandi awesome to see the scale keep moving!!!! 12lbs in less than a month is amazing!

Well tonight is Yoga..... I didn't weigh again "officially", but I did weigh when I woke up in full clothing (long yoga pants, bra, tank, sweater) and was at 191. So I'm probably about 188-189, I'd guess. Maybe I'll weigh in officially tomorrow, but it's so cold in the morning undressing is no fun lol.

I did have a little cheat yesterday- I was craving sweets so bad it hurt. I made a little bowl of Oat Fit oatmeal... 15 grams of carbs and no sugar. Not ideal obviously, but as far as something sweet goes it did the trick. Hoping today will be 100% Stillmans! There is a fine line for me between obsessing and being too lax. Gotta find that happy medium.

I also really need to start my running training program... I've been putting it off. Tomorrow is the latest to hit my 5K target by my birthday. I'm motivated.... but I know how much those first couple runs are going to huuuurt.

Stillmans continues!
