21 Day Challenge November 2013

I have been off and on plan so badly that I want to challenge myself to stay on for a solid 21 days. Starting tomorrow November 1st. I haven't been able to to that in years. No cheats! If I have a rough day I will make it a higher fat day.

I will log in tomorrow with my starting weight.

kitty_el 10-31-2013 09:05 AM

I am definitely up for a 21 day challenge, I've got a busy weekend with Halloween parties so will be starting on Monday 4th November. I will post on Monday with stats :)

I love a challenge, good luck :D

Ashley, LOVE THAT! I look forward to seeing your numbers diminish over the next three weeks.

IWasMadeThisWay 10-31-2013 04:53 PM

I'll join in, but I plan on aiming for longer! I have about 10 weeks to make my weight in the army, and I've been so bad this month.. I've bounced between 187-189 all month with no losses! Ugh. I'm starting to stress a bit now since I actually am on a deadline. I bought some egg beaters, turkey pepperoni for snacking on, and I'm set on everything else. But, I'm also going to track my calories online since I am one of those who needs to keep track. I will weigh myself tomorrow, and then again on either Sundays or Mondays. Good luck to all! Tomorrow is my first three day drill in the Army Reserves. I'm stressing like crazy!

Count me in, y'all! I just had a cheat meal, so I'm ready LOL!!!:shake:

PAWP!!! THanks for the tips on cooking the fish. I'm going to look for that seasoning for sure! I'm always trying to keep things interesting. BTW your doggie is SO cute!

I think just cheating with a higher fat day is totally fine! At least it keeps us in ketosis, which I think is probably the most important thing.

Bratty S, your doggie is really cute, too! I love pitties!

Does anyone here eat hot dogs? Minus the bun, of course! I could eat hot dogs ALL day long!!! I've just heard on some diets that theyre not okay. Like Atkins. What about if they're low fat and low carb? Like the kosher low fat, all natural hot dogs. WHat do yall think about it?

Anonymousity 11-01-2013 02:25 AM

I'm in. And back. Lol. I was last here in August or so. Lost a ton. Gained half of it back, but I'm not beating myself up for it! I want to make a push thru thanksgiving. Take a break. Then make a push until Christmas. It is doable for me as my diet is so restricted as it is due to allergies. Ugh. Cheating is actually painful! (gluten, yeast, etc).

November 1 is day 1. I'll weigh when I wake up. I'm also fighting a medication that can cause weight gain. Ugh.

Good to be back!

Sam_Marie 11-01-2013 03:44 AM

Hi everyone! Can I join? I love how everyone can come to these treads and get motivation and confess lol. I'm hoping for a 15-20 lb weight loss in 3 weeks. I'm planning to only eat egg whites, tuna and chicken breasts. No diet coke :( just water!! "I was made this way", I too am planning 10 weeks! Maybe we can be support buddies? Btw good luck in the army and thank you for your service! :) Good luck to everyone :high5:

Day 1 11/1 171.6 pounds. Better than I was expecting!

I had chicken, chicken, and more chicken. Now my stomach hurts. Ugh. I've also got a bad headache. I can't wait for the adjustment period to pass! I was so tempted to eat Halloween candy. Averted that disaster!

Hey Anonymousity - I remember reading your posts a few months ago, didn't you lose like 20 pounds in 3 weeks?? did you manage to keep it off?
How long did the adjustment take? I have been on Stillmans 5 days and have had a headache since day two that I just cant shift - loving the weight loss though!! :D

November challange

I'm in! My daughter is flying in for Thanksgiving and I want to look great for when she's home but I also have a goal to get to 250 by Christmas and had decided Stillmans was the WTG. No side effects going into day 2. I also started doing T25 (a very modified version) yesterday. Have a great weekend everyone :)

11-1 275.8
11-2 272.0

Catzmom 11-02-2013 09:42 AM

I will go ahead and join you for 21 days. See what happens. I am going into my 5th week of solid stall on Atkins, with no cheats at all. Need a shake up!

Starting tomorrow for me!

Yes, I lost 20 pound in 3 weeks. I lost a little bit more, then bounced back up so my loss is now at about 15 pounds. I have binge issues and let's just say I had an unfortunate encounter with more than a few jars of peanut butter. :(

I can't remember how long it took me to adjust in August. I realize now that my headache yesterday wasn't because of Stills, rather another issue. So other than hating food right now, the adjustment isn't so bad this time.

IWasMadeThisWay 11-03-2013 02:21 AM

Sorry I haven't been in here guys! My first three day Reserves weekend is proving to be hard to stay on Stillman's. My first day, I ended up not knowing I was going as range detail so my lunch/snacks were all in my car! So, I had to eat whatever they gave me. Yesterday, was a lot better, but mostly M/E. Hopefully tomorrow I'll be in full swing! Today's my last day of drill. :)

Maintaining a 15lb loss is still great & it means you will drop even lower this time round on Stillmans :)

I am going to be back on track tomorrow after a weekend of Halloween parties, I have only gained 3lb's of the 10 I lost back though so fingers crossed by the end of the week I will be another 10lb's lighter

Hope everyone is having a good weekend x

BrattyS 11-03-2013 11:37 AM

I am late to my own challenge! You may spank me later. Things got weird and hectic here this weekend. I am on tomorrow and will remain on until the 25th (at least).

See you in the morning for my weigh in!

If I'd known this was this powerful and do-able, I would have done this a LONG time ago! Spent yesterday cooking and making "legal" things and just pretty much playing in the kitchen ... :hyst: I'm also doing T25 (modified for my level) which I think is also kick starting things.
Thank you skittles :) I've been totally on plan and floating in water..

Have a great day all and keep focused!

As my niece says all the time, "I know, right?" I am so glad to have found this plan. I don't know exactly how I ended up here, but I thank Google I did.

BrattyS 11-04-2013 08:39 AM

Weighed in this morning at 224.8 :( I hate the 220s I have been looking at that set of numbers way too long.
Welcome to day 1! lol

Hey all, I started Stillmans this morning, stats were :
156 (goal - 140)
Fingers crossed it wont take long to lose 16lb's (although I know it can take longer when you are closer to goal)
So far today I have eaten some chicken breast - it was my first day back at work after 9 months of maternity leave & I haven't really been hungry. I will probably have some tuna in a bit.

What is everyone else eating?

Sam_Marie 11-04-2013 08:16 PM

Is exercise important on Stillman?

Do you find that you lose weight quicker when you incorporate exercise?

skittles1982 11-04-2013 08:37 PM

So my weigh in this morning was at 126.8. I bet I won't ahve much off when I weight in tomorrow morning. I ate chicken, a boiled egg, and two apples. I had to have something sweet, so I ate the apples. I'm also still hungry. Can't wait for ketosis.

kitty_el 11-05-2013 01:11 AM

Weighed in this morning and I am down 2lbs... Yay!!!!
04/11 - 156
05/11 - 154

Really excited to hopefully see the 140's soon :D :)
