Day 1 -224.8
Day 3 -220.2
Day 5 -218.0
Day 7 -217.8- 1week loss= 7lbs
Day 9 -216.8

This morning I had to go to the kids school for "muffins with mom". I watched them eat and had nothing. I was not even tempted.

I think I over did it yesterday on the sodium. I know it's only a small bump up but I just don't want it to start a trend. Thanks, Back on track, your numbers are looking good too! You should be very proud of yourself for getting right back on the diet so well, that's hard for a lot of people, myself included.
I did the same thing. Gets lots of fluid in today. You are doing great!

Welcome back! I always come back to stillmans. Nothing else compares to it's results.

Today looks like 6 eggs, two pieces of string cheese, two pieces of chicken with hot sauce, and I had a large coffee from DD with cream and three splenda.

Day 1: 185.7
Busy busy busy. You can do this, just keep at it. It is easy compared to all the other stuff you are pulling off.

Ugh, I have had a household emergency here, my heater needs to be repaired and since I'm a single income household..its not a pretty thing! I'll need to eat whats in the freezer cause grocery shopping wont happen for a few weeks. I hope you all will let me stay in this group even though I wont be able to eat strictly on plan. I ate paleo prior to going low carb so while its not "unhealthy" food, there are fruits and tons of veggies in the freezer. If you want to keep the thread true Stillman's I understand Great job everyone, stay on track!

I hope you get it repaired, I know how those unexpected expenses can really take a bite out of your budget. I have no problem with hanging out here. You bring warmth and encouragement to our little group, so yeah, stick around!

Still doing great. Tonight we are going to Sukura for my daughters birthday dinner. I am hoping to not do too much damage and recover my weight quickly. Today will be my biggest test. My goal is to enjoy the meal but eat smaller portions than usual. I love eating there, and only go once every year or two. Tomorrow there will be pizza, cake and ice cream in my house. Lord help me...

You aren't going anywhere. Happy to have you here even if you are grazing in a gallon of ice cream. We are also a single income family. I know how tough it is when the emergencies happen.

I can't remember who asked for the flax cheese "bread" for issues with bowel movement but here it is!

Ingredients
1 large egg
2 tbsp flax seed meal
1/2 teas. baking powder
1 packet Splenda
1/4 cup Cheddar Cheese, shredded
1 teas. butter, melted

Directions
Melt butter in 15 oz oval ramekin or flat bowl. Add & mix egg, flax meal, baking powder & splenda. Add cheddar cheese and mix. Put in microwave 1 minute, flip bread over and microwave another 10 seconds if no done in middle. Makes one slice of bread. Cut in half, top half with desired sandwich filling. Suggestions: mayo or cream cheese, turkey, lettuce, tomato, etc. Then top with other half of bread. Serves one.

Number of Servings: 1

The flax cheese "bread" is not strict stillman's but it's super low carb and at least it gets things moving. It really got things moving for me! Also, I have a friend that has issues with BM and she made a shake with flax meal in it. Funny thing is that she was on her way to an interview after she drank the flax shake and had to go so badly but she was in the middle of nowhere! I laughed and laughed when she told me the story! So I strongly recommend flax meal for constipation, even if u don't use it in the "bread". U could put it in cottage cheese or Greek yogurt, too. I know flax seed is a super food super low in carbs.

Dinner was great and I could not have done much damage even if I wanted to. My stomach is so shrunk down that I could barely eat anything. I have a HUGE pile of food in a take home box. If tasted great and I do not regret eating it at all. I also had a few small pieces of special chocolate that I had put up for a day off. It is dark chocolate with bits of bacon and maple in it. It is fabulous! Tomorrow is the Bday party. I still have not decided if I am going to be on or off for it. I will see how I feel tomorrow. Right now I am a bit bloated.

Ash, great job with the will power and the successful dinner out! You'll be fine today because you satisfied your "need" last night and todays food wont really look that good to you. I find that "off plan" foods start to look less and less appetizing as I move forward. I think its mental because it isn't that the food doesn't look good, its that in my mind, I know that after I eat it, its not going to make me feel good. What a wonderful tool our minds can be once they're trained in the right direction!

Everyone, have a great weekend!

Tbh there is only one ingredient in the flax muffins that's on the still mans list. Use magnesium citrate instead. No worries about going off plan.

Well Saturday was not on plan. I had a little of my left overs from the night before. I had a really tiny piece of birthday cake and some pizza. I did not over eat. I am up 4.4 lbs. But that will be gone quickly. It is bloat. Back on plan today.

I am pretty happy with with this weekend. In 6 years I have never been able to go off and control what I eat and I have never got right back on plan. I did that and it makes me feel good about myself.

Back on track I still really like my off plan food but I want to be able to change my relationship with it. I want it to be a treat once in awhile and the portions to be normal. I want to look at something I love to eat and not have the desire to eat a giant helping of it everyday for weeks before I can muster the strength to stop. Usually because the scale scared to the crap out of me.

My goal is to have a healthy relationship with food.

Wish I could help you with that Ash, but I have the same struggles... I cant bake anything... because I would sit there and eat half of it... pretty sad. I'm fortunate because my kids are grown and gone so the temptation to bake is just to bake things that are healthy for me

I don't bake! I knew my lack of cooking skills would come in handy some day. Over the year the kids food has just become that "the kids food" and it doesn't bother me most of the time. I am very careful about what I do bring in the house. There are plenty of thing in the past that would send me spiraling into carb land. Cheetos are my kriptonite.

DOH! I completely forgot that last time I was on Stillmans I had one cheat meal a week. Well after 17 days of eating on plan, I was gonna be sick if I had to face eating another egg or lean meat. I had pasta tonight and it was soooo good. I think now I have motivation to get back on plan until Thanksgiving. This morning my weight was the same, 161.2 pounds. Tomorrow, back on plan. I probably won't weigh for a few days though so I don't get discouraged if there is a slight bounce.

I've gotta bow out. I'm to the point where the thought of eating lean meat and eggs just makes me sick. I'm afraid its setting me up for a binge, and I am recovering and need to avoid binging at all costs.

I am happy with my 10 pound loss, and hope to maintain thru the holidays at the very least. I may be back at some point!

I hate food allergies.

Well I had a bad reaction last night so that's motivation enough to stick with it. I'm going to take it day by day and see how things go. At least I'm still at 161.2 for now. I'm terrified of gaining it all back when I switch to another plan.

I always find if I switch to straight calorie counting after Stillmans I avoid the re-gain, I generally maintain for the first week and then the weight starts coming off again (although much slower) - I think doing this kind of 'sets' the weight I lost on Stillmans. I keep the calorie counting up for a few weeks and then switch back to stillmans/VLCD good luck whatever you decide

P.S. 10lbs is a brilliant weight loss
