Bring it on! We're here for ya! Sorry about your gains but you've got the tools and the know how to get it off again. Just keep going strong. I hope you had a wonderful birthday.

I may or may not have eaten a large bowl of popcorn and a few pieces of chocolate from the halloween bin and gained .4.
I got right back on plan today and have been fine. I am OK with what I did. I am going to be doing Stillmans off and on for about 7 months to lose all my weight. There are going to be times that going off plan is worth it. I am hoping to choose those times wisely, not eat like a pig starving to death and get right back on plan.

Only a small drop but I'm a bit umm stopped up to put it nicely lol. I'm hoping to drop a bit once I am un-stopped!
Good luck!

Oh man, I can not could not count the times I have done that. I have lost and gained the same pounds for yeeeeears. Recognize the pattern and stop it quickly. I know how hard it is to get on the scale and see it bounce back to the beginning. You are back on and maybe a little bit stronger. You will be fine and it should come off quickly.

Today makes one week for me. I was up another .4. So a .8 gain from popcorn shenanigans. I was good yesterday tho, just had it the one night. All in all a pretty good week. The next week is going to be rough and not completely on plan. My daughters Birthday is on Wednesday and we are taking her to a restaurant of her choice. I am betting it will not be a Stillman friendly place. Saturday she is having a sleepover with pizza, cake, ice cream etc... I am planning to stay on plan that day. I hope everyone else is doing well.

Day 1 -224.8
Day 3 -220.2
Day 5 -218.0
Day 7 -217.8 Week one loss = 7.0 lbs

After summer it creeped back up on me and evr since may of this year it don't matter what I seem to do the pounds are barely coming off to almost nothing, I go on for 3 weeks in hopes that it will be a good 3 only to loose maybe 7 to 10 and like will gain 5 back Ina day or 2 I am overwhelmed and frustrated as it has always worked and now it seems nothing works, my last event was from Oct 7 till to nov 4 where I didn't cheat at all and only was down 6 pounds, mad I ate for a day thinkin it would help gained back 3 in one day and have been off ever since, u guys seem very motivational and I intend on tryin this tomorrow , hope it's ok if I join in as I will be back in the morning with all my stats

Lost my .8 gain plus a tad more. Yay! I am feeling great. It is amazing that this time seems to be so much better for me mentally. I am so determined to lose this weight. 2 weeks in a row My friend and I have stopped at a fast food place after taking our kids to karate and I did not order anything. AND I did not feel deprived. Also, my gain this week would have sent me straight into a day off in the past. It did not do that this time. I feel so much stronger. I can do this! I plan to be out of the 200s by the end of December.

Scale is moving great for you! You are right, being/feeling skinny feels better than anything I could ever eat. It is hard to remember that sometimes.

Kandi, Unfortunately as we age, our metabolisms slow. I'm 53 and surviving menopause and trust me, my body goes in reverse if I add carbs. It just cant process them correctly anymore. I started my journey in 2011 at 400 lbs. I tried sooo many different ways of eating with little or no results. Carbs were NOT my friends, but I had to find that out for myself and acknowledge that if I wanted to lose weight and FEEL great, I had to change a lifetime of bad habits/misinformation. I will NEVER let myself see 400 again. I got down to 200 but stalled and pretty much went back to doing bad bad things. In October, after gaining 75 of those pounds back over the past year, I made up my mind and accepted that this is the way I personally need to eat. This time, I'm not stopping at 200 and I'm not going back to feeling horrible because of carbs, the don't own me We can ALL do this, after all, I'm not a sprint, I'm a marathon!

Thanks Back On track, i have learned that carbs are not my friend as much as i love them lol, but i cannot consume them without some negative side effects, with being 41 i can see that my metabolism has changed, but going into 40 i was in the process of 3 months on Atkins and lost a total of 30 pounds and felt amazing, but then as always i got comfortable and ate and ate and ate, i find it amusing that when i actually do low carb i have self control, but have none when it comes to eating a normal diet im an over endulger to say the least, but im here again and i am gonna put forth effort to to do this and get back to at lleast 175 where i felt comfortable and worry about maintainin it after i reach it

You sound soooo much like me and the others on here, I would venture to say. I personally have come to believe that the weight is kind of a side benefit. I do this because I FEEL so much better without the carbs. I have more energy, more focus and more drive to do things. Carbs are addictive and when I'm eating them, it seems I spend tons of time thinking of ways to ingest them...lol....like and addict, they are my drug. Being an emotional eater as well, its a BAD thing! When you feel like you are wavering, just come back in and read a bit here...it helped me. Thanks to our awesome sauce group here!

Back on Track, your losses are amazing! You are definitely living up to your username!

BrattyS, I am so happy to hear you got over that hump! And yes, you are right about the can of biscuits comparison, LOL! Now, my jewelry is fitting better, my fingers were constantly feeling swollen and I was miserable.

I gotta say, although I have my ups and downs with energy, I'm feeling better overall, I'm sleeping well and I wake up with no problem, no brain fog, no sluggishness. I still have a way to go, but I feel like I've already come so far! Does that make sense? lol!

Kandi, welcome! You and I are about the same age and I was the same starting weight as you. If you can get through a week of Stillman's, the rest is downhill, well maybe not all downhill, but it certainly gets easier. I wish you the best of luck with your journey. Just remember we're all here with the same goals and struggles, if you have questions, ask 'em. Everyone here is so helpful, I've felt nothing but welcome and comfortable since I joined a week ago. Talk to ya soon!

I'm cracking up at the can of biscuits remark! That's how I feel after eating wheat. (I even look pregnant! Not a good look, lol)

Welcome! The first few days are the hardest. Just stick to the allowed foods list and you'll be fine. If you are hungry, then eat an allowed food. My calories were a bit high my first few days, but then the appetite suppression kicked in and I'm eating fewer calories. You can do it!

Day 10....165.2.....6.4 total pounds lost
Day 11....164.4.....7.2 total pounds lost
Day 12....163.6.....8.0 total pounds lost

I will be on cloud NINE if I can hit 155 by the 28th because that means I'll be at the top end of a normal BMI!

Funny, I'm at my low weight from a few months ago, but I felt very fat today. I think its because my stretch jeans are stretched out and I keep losing so they don't fit right. Hmpf. They were my favorite jeans! I seem to have this problem with all stretch jeans. Does anyone have any recommendations for great jeans that are 100% Cotton? I used to love the gap until they made all of their jeans stretch jeans. Now I won't buy them!

I am up .2 for no good reason. Maybe because I weighed 2 hours earlier. Who knows... Thankfully we are not going out to eat tonight. My daughter wants to go to Sukura on Friday. Not sure what I am going to eat but I did plan to go off plan a bit for her birthday dinner so I am not going to stress about it too much. Saturday is her Birthday party and sleepover and I still have not made up my mind whether to go off for that or not. Either way I will be playing catch up for a couple of days. Then I have a week and a half till Thanksgiving. I may just eat turkey and call it a year. November was a bad month to try to pull off a 21 day challenge. December will be much easier.

I love stretch jeans. Maybe look into some of the older Levis. Congrats on the weight. It looks like you have had a great 12 days!

I haven't been this skinny since the beginning of my freshman year in college! I looked in the mirror today and thought "wow, I look totally different!" My highest weight was around 220 a few years ago. I can't believe I've lost almost 60 pounds since then! Now the issue of saggy skin----it sort of runs in the family. My sister lost about 30 pounds when she was 18 and she has a bit of sag in her arms. Oh well, that's why God made spanx lol.

Thank u all once again, and yes back on track we do seem a lot alike cuz I sure do agree with u lol, I am an emotional eater, I feel the exact same when I'm consuming carbs as they are very addictive for me, but without them I too feel so much better , no mood swings, more focused and in general just feel a lot better (u would think that would be enough to stay on) but unfortunately it's not at times, which is why I wanted to join this group as well , it is very motivational, I also recently found my journal that I wrote about a year ago that I kept track of my loss and and what I ate, it too is very motivational to look back on, so here are my stats for today...

11/12 205.1
11/13 202.8
Happy however I hope it continues lol

I think I over did it yesterday on the sodium. I know it's only a small bump up but I just don't want it to start a trend. Thanks, Back on track, your numbers are looking good too! You should be very proud of yourself for getting right back on the diet so well, that's hard for a lot of people, myself included.

Hi guys! I meant to start with you guys a few weeks ago, and it's just been crazy here! Looking for a job while trying to save money that I don't have coming in.. ugh! Trying to also plan my next semester, and hopefully making a big move next summer. Yikes!

Today looks like 6 eggs, two pieces of string cheese, two pieces of chicken with hot sauce, and I had a large coffee from DD with cream and three splenda.

Day 1: 185.7
