Happy Sunday all!
Still plugging along. Not perfect, just moving forward. This week is hopeful. Not too many interruptions.

Be good to your self!

Couldn't resist. Yes, I weighed this weekend, after three days following strict Stillman's. Came in at 207.4 and down to 205.6 today. Losses are going well. I just need to STICK WITH THIS for the next 32 days until we fly away for a cruise. I'm figuring that since I have a day off from work on October 14, that would be a good day to go shopping and buy a new pair of workout shoes and maybe a few clothing items for the cruise. I hope to show a big difference in that amount of time and be able to get into some/most of my smaller clothes... Size 10 please! I worked out today doing situps and weights. I'm going to try and make it to the gym once or twice this week.

Tally Ho!

Sounds like a good plan, Michelle.

Braved the scale once again. 203.4. I went back to weigh a couple times because I couldn't believe my eyes!

Woo Hoo!

I will be able to get in those smaller clothes by cruise time! YIPEE!

New to Stillman's

Hey everyone,

I'm Temika an 37 yr old single lady. I just started Stillman's monday 09-23-13, after being told about the diet by my mother, she stated that she did this diet about 30 yrs ago with dramatic results so here I go. Today is day 3 for me, it has been hard just wanting on the no hungry part to start but I will hang in there. I posted on another forum also but this one seems more active. I did get a response on the other but I need the moral support so I think I'll post here more frequently.

Temika! You'll find great support here. This is a great group of people. Good luck on your plan.

to all my great LC buddies here. Glad to see you all doing well and hang in there to others, you'll do good. Just a quick check in. I've been on Stills for about 9 days now (today taking a break from it), but I've lost 11 pounds, give or take a few ounces, lol. Went from 242 to 231. So happy with that. Don't expect those results next week, maybe 4-5 at best, but hey that's closer to Onderland. Take care all. Hugs. Mae

Welcome Newbies! Stillman's is an awesome diet. You just have to STICK TO IT! If you follow the plan diligently, within a month you will notice a HUGE difference and you will feel so good about yourself. Plus you'll feel proud of yourself for sticking to it and your clothes will be looser and you will have lost inches and you will feel great!

So.... can't wait to see your slide down the scale. WooHoo!

South Beach. Just can't get into Stills at the moment which is a shame seeings I drop so much weight doing it. South Beach is easy for me. No doubt I will return here at some point.

Hello everyone. Today makes my fourth day on Stillmans and I think I am getting adjusted somewhat to this plan. I have managed to drop 8lbs so far, however, I have eaten cheese and had skim milk in my coffee. I was wondering...if I stop cheese altogether is having 4 oz of skim milk several times a week ok on Stillmans?

Ok... so I purchased a digital scale on yesterday and actually found out I weighted more than I thought initially..darn standard scale but any who I will adjust my stats so I weighted in yesterday @ 195.5. and was totally bummed by it but.. I'm happy to informed that I weighted myself this morning and I'm down to 193.2...so siked I'm down two pounds and excited for the many more to come.

Oh but yeah I have a question what are the best cheeses rather brands to eat on stillman's, I've been eating laughing cow and weight watchers mozzarella cheese.

I am not sure how this is so, but I am down to my 80's. I have been hoping to see the 80's for some time now. Stillman's...or my personal not so sure correct or incorrect version there of...seems to be working pretty well!! I am 188 today...that's exactly 10 pounds in four days. I still can't believe it.

Hello everyone. Thanks for the responses and the help with my questions. It's been about 1 week since I last posted. I was feeling HORRIBLE the first week or so on Stillman's! Headaches galore, light sensitivity and just the overall body aches....I really felt sick! Yesterday was the first day I felt good all day and today I feel GREAT! I've been doing o.k. losing weight but I did have a stall for a few days and I realized it was the eggs. I thought the cheese would do it but nope. Now I eat:
Breakfast - tea sweetened w/liquid splenda and 3-4 sausage patties or bacon
Snacks - 1 whole mini baybel cheese original light or egg white drop soup
Lunch and dinner - either baked or grilled chicken breast, or any type of seafood or steak. I'm finally able to drink 80 oz. of water YEA!
Since I've eliminated the eggs for breakfast I'm back losing 1 lb per day. Haven't had to use my smooth move tea either...yea!
I'm loving this diet. I'm never hungry, in fact I have to force myself to eat. No real cravings just bad habits I need to break. I did slip and have an oatmeal cream pie yesterday. But I'm back on an going strong. I'm so stoked...WE CAN DO THIS!

Just wanted to say proud of you all, you're gonna do well. I've decided to stop Stills for a bit, and do another LC plan for myself. I'll still be popping in here and over at the M & E thread. Hugs and happy losing to all. Mae

Ladybess will you download a pic of the book you have? I went on Amazon but there are many different Stillmans weight loss books with the same name, different covers, different year and just didn't know which I should get.

Also the year for this book is 1974. I hope that helps only paid one cent for my copy and it's in great condition not written in or no rips in the pages plus it's hardback.

I'm coming back to stills, restart 9/28. My binging is starting to get bad again. Stills stops it. I'll be ok once I'm past the first three or so days and the cravings are gone again. Not going to weigh for the next week---- I don't want to beat myself up for the gain.
