Just a few questions! Do you count calories? I'm pretty low on my calories today. I just don't have the desire to eat any more legal foods.

Has anyone else had issues with binging? In the past I would binge on high fat or high carb food, so I'm hoping that this woe helps me get rid of the cravings which cause me to binge.

Thanks!
Anyone?

Most of us don't count calories, if you need a go-by, try around 12-1400. There are recipes on this forum and in the prior and this stillman's thread. I think a lot of people have gone through at least a day of binging, wether from stress or anxiety or something else. After the first few days you'll be better with this woe, stick it out, it's worth it. We're all here to help support each other. Use easy fats like butter, mayo, etc to help make it more enjoyable if you need to. Ask any questions you want, we'll each try to answer them as best we can. Each person's needs are different so we think of that too when we answer. Hope this helps. Take care. Mae

I am still plugging along here I have been having higher fat to get me through the first few day... it may be just me but it always takes me a couple days of higher fat before I can really get into strict stills!

Thanks, Mae!

By my estimates, my calories were around 1200 yesterday, but only about half that the day before. I'm surprised I'm not struggling more. I'm sticking to the allowed foods and doing ok!

thanks, Mar, it's been a week and a half. They don't come around as much as they used to, but they still hang on forever. Of course, DH is pretty much over it in less than a week.........grrrrrrrrrr.

And why are you so far away from family? School? Or maybe distance is a good thing LOL!

I miss my mom (and Dad, bless his soul) she hasn't been up and won't be this year. But we're keeping the faith that we will have Christmas in FL together.

I have been researching the areas since last September and have decided on the Ocala - Morriston area. It's redneck and secluded enough for DH but still has a Macy's in less than an hour drive. Hard to believe but my Macy's is a good hour and a half away. Talk about rural!

Just popping in to say hiya! I have been MIA from a lot of stuff lately but I just finished the 1st draft of my fourth novel! Yippee! Then I realized that I am not happy with one of the chapters and will probably rewrite it next week. For this weekend though, I relax.

Where is Turan? I missed something.

Hope you don't mind if I join yet again. Trying to make something stick. 65 days until my 43rd bday and trying to make this my year of living not just of being alive. Today is day two, not in ketosis yet, but was very good yesterday. Today I packed boneless chicken and boiled eggs for my day at work. Have eggs whites and ham for breakfast. Starting weight yesterday was 164.4 and today was 163.2 but my weight has been up and down within 3 pounds of this for weeks. Looking for 150s by the end of the week. Would live to see 135 by my bday. Wishing everyone here lots of losses.

Starting today

Hello,

I'm starting today. So far lean ham and turkey and a little diet 7up. No hungry. Plenty satisfied. Hope that lasts. Little worried about sodium in ham but it is yummy.

thx Mar, I really had to plow through it and tell myse;f I wasn't stroking out or having a heart attack. It's the worst one I've had yet. Never did have one until Dad passed.

I hate to burden y'all with this carp but if it helps someone get through a loss then it's worth it, ya know?

In every one of my ebay auctions I have the following tag line in the description, and I still mean it every day:

**** Life is too short not to have the vintage cool stuff, china, silver and glass that you love. Spoil your pets, kiss your kids, tell your signifigant other that you love them even in the moments that you don't. Call your Mom and Dad. I love you Mom!

Hi Mar, CCG, and ALL!
Doing ok here, glad you got nice weather again Mar922. Started raining here this early eve. There's quite a few Stillman's threads going on currently. Hard to keep up with them all at times, so posting in them when I think about it. Take care all and happy losing. Mae

Hi all, I'm a newbie. I guess I joined Low Carb Friends last September and then forgot about it. Was looking around online to see if I could find anyone else in the world doing Stillman, and here you all are! Nice. Day 1 for me today... have never tried Stillman before, but I'm so sick of yo-yoing and living in a carb fog, I think I'm desperate enough to stick with it for awhile. My only daughter is getting married in 9 months. Wondering what I can accomplish by then if I cycle Stillman and Paleo or something.

Anyway, feeling surprisingly good today, thought it would be rougher. Have only had hard boiled eggs and skinless chicken, and just about to cook some ground beef for dinner.

Have a great weekend, everybody.
