Monday weigh in, lost 4.8 lbs this week ,was 214.6 down to 209.8 kind of diverted off the meat and eggs this weekend ended up eating high fat but now i'm back to meat and eggs with fat and a bit of veggies,I'm hoping to lose 2-3 lbs this week. Congrats Pleth on the 1.2 lbs weight loss, Maepowers sounds like you had a wonderful birthday!

You can do it, Wisty! That's a great loss. Won't be long before you, Pleth and I get to Onederland! Just realize it's ok to get diverted sometimes. I'll weigh in Wednesday, trying to keep to my weekly thing. LOL, though tempting.

Going to do a strict M/E myself for the next week to ten days. Started today, but going official Wed, from weigh in. Good luck to all. Have a fantastic week. Mae

Hi Ladies,

Well basically after I started this thread vacations simply overwhelmed my ability to stay on a low carb plan.

So I'm back with a few more pounds and a new plan.

starting today I'm doing 10 days of stillmans modified with a romaine salad and celery and CO and green shake if I want it. I'm starting at 179 and I hope to be 170 by the end of the 10 days. I will re-evaluate my plan once I get past this 10.

my tweaked plan for as long as I can stick with it

eggs till dinner
some type of Low fat meat for dinner,,,(haven't decided yet)
My tweaks

3 cheese sticks anytime today
a romaine heart with ACV for a snack at night (to keep me regular) a whey shake to sip on during the day with a macro greens and vitamins in it. I will have to count up those carbs. the macro greens has 6 carbs and the whey has 3 for a total of 9 carbs. Basically I'm substituting the cottage cheese carbs for these carbs. The cheese sticks are less than one carb each. The romaine lettuce is 3 carbs. I will say I have a possible total of 15 carbs max. The way I figure it I'm also gonna throw some additional vitamins in my shake that will take care of nutrition and the lettuce takes care of potty issues, and those 3 cheese sticks are just fun and helps with calcium. My only other tweak is CO. So tonight I may fry me up some catfish in CO. I just discover how delicious that is.... Oh I almost forgot,,,cream in coffee,,,life must have some perks

Todays plan is the same
eggs till dinner plus a shake to sip on all day
chicken and meatballs for dinner
Romaine lettuce and 3 cheese sticks for snack,,,,soup if needed

Hello, all! I am planning on starting stillman's today. Ok so I have lost a lot on Atkins but I'm really having trouble losing these last 15 lbs. so I'm joining y'all! I'm at 130 and trying to get to 115. Dr. Stillman says in his book that I'm supposed to weigh 110 lbs but I don't think I can get that low unless I have organs removed! Here we go! Luck to all!

Welcome Skittles. Stillman's August thread is where a lot of us hang out also. I do that and Meat/Eggs so look up that threat too if you like. There's a great group in both and those in this challenge here stalk it too. lol.
Got to having a few threads to post to so mainly in the main Stillman's one or M/E thread in other plans. Take care and good luck. I think 115 or 120 is fine for you. Don't stress, you'll do fine. Mae

Basically this thread is to encourage those who may have to vary Stillmans QWL plan in order to keep the momentum. I've been varying the plan to work for me and I have been losing a pound a day.

Well yesterday I was thinking about changing up my diet, then I thought, why should I, this is working and I'm enjoying it.

I have no potty issues, thanks to the romaine lettuce at only three carbs. I put some garlic salt and a little ACV and cut it up in small pieces and pretend I'm eating potato chips. Ok, so I do have a great imagination.

Hi Everyone:

I started a modified Stillman's diet today and tomorrow I will start the official program. I am really excited and amped to get this weight off. I am 5'1 and 180 pds. I feel most comfortable at 125, so I need to lose over 50 pounds to reach that goal. My first mini goal is 25 pounds (not too mini..lol). I have an event coming up in a month. I know that a 25 pound weight loss in that time frame is a bit ambitious, but I am going to try and get as close to it as possible.

I loveee dairy, so I am nervous that cheese will be my downfall. I already exercise, so I am going to keep that going. I am also going to incorporate a diet pill for maximum benefits. I know some people are opposed to dietary supplements, but I need to get this weight off as quickly as possible.

I am getting married and would like to be able to feel beautiful when I pick out a wedding dress. Unfortunately, at this size I won't. I refuse to put on a wedding dress or do any wedding planning until I have lost at least 10% of my body weight. I know it seems harsh, but I guess I'm trying to show myself some tough love...lol.

Any suggestions would be great!!! Thanks and Good Luck!!

I've been really happy with my weightloss so far. Since the 13th I've lost 7 pounds. I do eat 3 cheese sticks at night time plus a romaine heart at 3 carbs for a snack and to keep from getting constipated. This tweaks in my diet seem to be working for me fine.

Here's my sample diet from today:

breakfast
two hardboiled eggs
Dinner
two turkey legs (not big ones) broiled with hot sauce.
Snack
3 cheese sticks and the romaine lettuce

during the day I sip on a whey shake with macro greens and vitamins added. (about 9 carbs)

I still lose at approximately a pound a day even with these slight changes to the QWL stillmans. Stillman himself states in his book, just do what it takes. He has quite a few other diets in his book. I've just fashion my version to fit me. I will add some CO to sauté food in or even fry catfish.

This is my least hungry day I've had so far. Basically you will notice the hunger diminish
