Hey can I get in on this? I've been yo-yo-ing for the last 2 years and I'm sick of it and this weight!!!!

I started from scratch this morning before work: Weighed 234


Is it alright if I post what I had to eat today?

B---8oz. cup of black decaf coffee
1 hard boiled egg
1 16 oz. bottle of water

S---1 stick of string cheese
1 16 oz. bottle of water

L---1 can of tuna packed in water (5oz.)
1 SF strawberry gelatin cup
1 16 oz. bottle of water


S---3 shrimp from a shrimp cocktail I bought at the grocery store (with a dab of cocktail
sauce on each one)
bottle of water (16 oz.)


D---5 shrimp cocktail shrimp dipped in cocktail sauce
1 hard boiled egg
1 bottle of water


S---1 SF black cherry gelatin cup
1 bottle water



Will this kind of menu work?

Also, I have a couple quick questions:

It's alright to grill my chicken breasts right? (George Foreman type of grill)

And in the Stillman's instructions it says to take a daily vitamin and a mineral tablet daily. I already take a daily multi-vitamin but should I be taking an additional mineral tablet too and if so, can someone tell what and where to buy them? (Walgreens or CVS)

Hi FP! I'm not sure I know enough to advise you on your menu...I'm on Day 1 myself! I am very excited to make this plan work...glad to have someone else to start with.

Come on over to the Aiming for Weight Loss in April thread...I think it's more active than this thread, as most people just post weight progress here (at least, that's what this thread was like last month, lol!), and you'll get more responses to questions there.

But be sure to keep coming back to this thread each week to update your success!!

Hey FP - I started an April thread - Aiming For Weight Loss in April - so come on over and post your questions there.

I use a George Forman grill b/c it gets rid off a lot of fat. A more experienced Stilman user should answer your other questions though.

I was down to 197.2 yesterday, but I had been weighing in much later in the morning this past week. Since I had to be up early for work today, I had to hop on the scale a lot earlier. If I hadn't gotten on until 9ish like I had been, I bet it would've been less. It's all good, though, especially since TOM is sneaking around and he always brings unwanted weight with him. Stupid man!

Just go to the last post and use your cursor to copy it starting at the first line that says "April..." down to the bottom of the list. (You're not using the quote button...it's just a copy and paste job). Then open up a reply window, paste what you've copied and add your info to the bottom of the list.

Onward to week 2!!

Uggghhh...pretty bummed...didn't cheat all week but only lost 2 lousy pounds...oh well 2 is better than nothing right?....


Going to stop eating as much cheese, sf gum and increase my water intake.

FP: Two pounds IS better than nothing. Weight is an ebb and flow thing. You'll see more some weeks and less on others. You've still posted an 11-pound loss in two weeks. Don't be discouraged...you're doing great!!

The scale at work this morning (BL contest, remember...) shows me down 6.2 pounds this week. I don't get how the scale at work and at home can be off by so much, but I'll take it. In 6 weeks of the contest thus far, I've lost 16.4 pounds on the scale at work. Yay!
