I hope everyone enjoys the weekend !!!! Today is catch up day for me on here , phone calls and family and friends .... I will probably BBQ tonight a lean steak ha ! ha ! while I can still chew .... I always value all of your opinions so let me know what you think about the menu .... It is lower in carbs than most meals , low in fat I just hope it gets me through next week ....

Good morning. Ug - I can't believe how bad I feel! But I'm back on plan today. We are heading to the amusement park after church and I'll get lots of walking in. And I'll take my tuna with me. I feel so good being on Stillman's that I'm looking forward to getting that glow again. I'll check in tonight when I have some time! Happy Sunday!

I see some people had cheat days...but thats ok....it wont completely put you off ketosis.

It took me entire 1 week to get kicked out of ketosis...and I was eating more than 50g of carbs per day.

Personally, I feel you need some cheat days to keep yourself motivated.

So, if you had one cheat meal...relax and continue to stick to plan...you will be fine. Good Luck all.
I agree with you!!!! A cheat day here and there does keep it going! Stillmans is strict with fantastic results but we have cravings that sometimes just need to be filled so we can keep on going! I have seen that after I cheat I am more determined to keep going and not let it get me down!

Ahhhhhh, first day back is a success! I have been hungry today - ate two packs of tuna at the park! But hunger is to be expected after being off plan. I have eaten until I'm full. Hopefully in a another couple of days I'll be back to the good feeling being on plan for a long time brings! I'm exhausted - it will be an early night for me!

great attitude and what you are saying works. tuna creates more cravings for me, in fact all canned and processed meats do. when i cook all my own eggs, meat, etc. i have much better luck.

The tuna is a great way to stay on plan for me. The packets are handy and fit in my purse, so I always have something to eat in an emergency. I don't use them often, and I don't eat much canned tuna either! I like real, cooked food too!

Good morning! Day two has started! Tomorrow is weigh in and I hope to be no more than 4 pounds up. I'm having dinner at a parishioner's home tonight. I gave her the Dukan book when she asked me what I'm doing. I don't do Dukan - can't tolerate dairy, but it is a handy way to talk to others about my weight loss. Anyway, she told me she is fixing chicken, and spinach strawberry salad. Sigh. But it will be good and I will eat and enjoy.

had a great time this weekend at my party, the swimsuit turned out great.
I felt good. I definitely splurged and my tummy is not feeling well today

I am glad I had fun but ready to back on a food schedule that I can trust.
I feel sluggish today, heavy and not so well. Ick.

Here is my final result. 5' 8 , at right at 144 LBS

Had a couple of Bdays this weekend so I ate a couple things off plan but worked on moderation of "good things" like cake and ice cream I just had a couple bites of the Bf's and he didn't want to share so that worked out well as I maintained my 2 pounds lost this weekend!

Its always hard for me to be good on the weekends and especially when I just start because I just think oh I will start again Monday its only been a few days.

I went to a bday too this weekend and tried to stay as healthy as possible! Had some salad, cheeseburger without the bun, and I couldn't resist a cupcake! I weighed in at 192.5 this morning so thankfully no gain! Gotta work out extra hard and stick to the plan this week because next week I leave for vacation! My goal is to get out of the 190's....
I used to have the same problem about cheating and saying I'll just start next Monday....lol...all my friends would tease me...for me once I saw results it was much easier to resist temptation! And you are losing do keep it up girl!

Mim: stay calm. You can do this. just start eating your chicken and eggs. No carbs. dump the cheese. stay away from the canned packaged meat for awhile. try to eat your own cooking. do it for 3 days, and then those cravings will back down. forget the scale, you don't need to see the number until Fridayish.

after three days of no carbs, just protein products-you will burn those carbs out of your body, you will stop feeling those cravings and the carb-face and body will start to shrink down and you will feel much better.

just do it. don't listen to your feelings right now or what your emotions tell you. if you have those cravings, tell them you are not listening to them. you have your mind set and be committed. have some diet coke if you can't stand it and want to eat. no calories or carbs in there and sometimes that settles me down too.

Yeah my friends makes fun of me because I say I am terrible at dieting. My boyfriend laughs and says "but you start 1 every week!"

I am doing better this time around so I have to stick to it.

Where are you going on vacation? I got back from Hawaii a few weeks ago and it was not fun knowing I was 20 pounds heavier than I wanted to be and 30 pounds heavier by the time I got home!

Hi
I'm new to Stillmans....starting tomorrow. I've been reading up and noting down recipes.
I'm 5ft tall and 196lbs. I'd like to loose 70lbs and get down to 126lbs.
I'll be checking in as often as I can...hopefully everyday!
