I do, and there is a huge difference! I don't even recognize my "before" body...I can't believe I actually looked like that. But it's much different when I look in the mirror... Of course, we will always be more critical of ourselves than other people will be of us. We are the ones that see all the flaws that other people miss. But still, even knowing that, I don't feel like its good enough quite yet. I wanted to be at least a size 8, hoped for a size 6 but that would probably take at least another 10 lbs. I just hope I can get to a point where I'm happy with it instead of just "okay", you know?

so the 6's I boght last fall whipped right on this morning without an argument.........'Hmmmmmm' she thinks......... snuck into the laundry room and dug out the scale.........yup, 5 pounds gone........off to change stats.... ....sellling clothes on the bay like a fire sale last week. |

Down another pound. woo! Today I plan to eat a big turkey burger before we go to the county party. Maybe then I won't be as tempted to go off. There is suppose to be food booths everywhere with the areas best places.
In the past I would have went ahead and gone off because it was a holiday. Not this time. I promised myself I was on till the 14th and I plan to keep that promise. Everyone have a great day! |

When you get to 150 though, that's going to be a HUGE accomplishment! I mean, granted, getting down to where you are now is already really great. But losing almost 100 lbs? Very, very few people can actually have the drive and motivation to do that. You are going to be an entirely new person, so I hope you don't forget where you started either because that is truly inspirational! And I'm sure you can do it. Your stats are similar to my boyfriends, actually. He used to be over 300 lbs and then he lost about 70 with Herbal Life shakes, and I met him after that. Then he gained back to about 250 over the past year and a half we were together. But after going low carb with me, now he's down to 208 I think he said the other day. Kinda jealous, honestly...he's lost 10 more lbs than me in the same amount of time and he's cheated quite a bit! I think his goal is around 180 or so that he wants to get to by the end of the year. But anyway, point is, keep up the amazing work and there is no way you're NOT going to love yourself after everything you've been through! That's a phenomenal change you're going to make in yourself.

bratty, love those two dogs! wonderful. i have two toy poodles. baby them like crazy. such little friends to me. i also do not know what i would do without them. one is a puppy at 11 months, the other is 3 and we rescued her 1.5 years ago. they both look exactly alike, as if they are sister.

Hey every 1!
I haven't been on here in quite sometime I was having major binge eating issues so I just felt like I needed to relax a bit and give myself time. Needless to say I have been binge free for almost 2 months and have cut out my major over eating food which was peanut butter for a month now and things have been getting better! I was wondering if I could join u all (official start for me would be tomorrow 7/5 I have a lot of muscle and workou about 2 hours a day but I have fat covering it all! So my goal is to drop about 30 pounds and lean out truth is I will be going be inches and will take measurements tonight I hope it's not too late to join I also monitor my calorie in take I feel like on stillmans I am full at like 1,000 calories with all the chicken and turkey and eggs I wish u all success so let it burn!! bratty, great job on your loss! danielle: glad to have you here. i did great with my eating today. just eggs, chicken, tuna, 2 pieces low fat cheese and protein shake (zero carbs). going to try this for a couple days.

I did not eat anything at the county shindig. I drank water. I had a big turkey burger with a little bacon sprinkled on it and melted cheddar right before I left. Definitely higher fat and cals but it killed any desire to go off plan. ![]() "See" you guys in the morning ![]() |

HI LADIES!
Yea! There are so many new faces here! I'm so excited to see everyone. Isn't this diet AMAZING! For those who don't know me, my name is Beth, these wonderful woman helped me so much last yr. I lost all my wt in a MONTH! Lightning fast. I was a low carber for many yrs. mostly Atkins but once I got the knowledge of Stills I was on fire. I'd love to post a few pics, but I don't know how to do that?! Can someone walk me through this process. I'm back in the saddle with you all as I did an experiment. A VERY, VERY BAD ONE AT THAT! ARGH! Has anyone heard of "The Weigh Down Diet" by chance? Well, for some reason, my body HATED IT and I've gained probably 15 or so in such a short time. I did it like 3 weeks and actually gained! Happy day-after-the-4th to all. Not feeling all that well today...doc put me on an additional inhaler med on Monday and I think I'm not tolerating the side effects too well...will be calling him later today about this med.
We had lots of great Atkins-legal food--but high fat & much higher calories than Stillmans. Low carb, but not nearly as low as Stillman's either. Did not eat any carbage, though I was surrounded with yummies like ice-cream-pie, chips & homemade salsa bean dip...cookies...you get the picture. We had our own LC treats to get us through! Bad news is I was up 3 lbs today but I know I didn't eat 10,500 extra calories in the last 36 hours so it's undoubtedly water gain that will quickly disappearBack on straight Stillman's today, already had my HB egg & low fat turkey sausage patty for breakfast. Back to my black coffee (really enjoyed the HW Cream yesterday) ...still have a few houseguests so I'm sending all the leftover carbage & high fat food home with them. Clean out the excess so it's not around to tempt me. Looking forward to getting back into the losing game! ![]() Congrats to all who stayed the same or lost over the holiday!

Beth, Since LCF doesn't provide the ability to upload your pictures directly to the site for usage in your posts, you will have to use a third party photo hosting service such as Photobucket (which is free) to store your pictures online and make them accessible to LCF. Sign up for an account on Photobucket, and follow the instructions there to upload your photo. On the site, you will be provided with a URL, or link, to your photo that may then be used to access the photo. It will look just like a standard web address, i.e. "http://www.photosharingservice.com/yourphoto.jpg" (the link will be different depending on the specific sharing service you are using). You must then copy the link, and use the "insert image" button at the top of the LCF posting tool, where you will be able to place the link for inclusion in your post. I really over indulged with full carbs on my holiday to NYC .... I had coffees with cream and sugar.... I love it sweet
and I miss my coffee like that lol I ate 3 sausage, pepper and onion slices .... a Bud light with them .... a bag of potato chips, a chocolate dipped vanilla cone and more yummies .... I enjoyed the next few days low carb .... I kept thinking in the back of my mind how the 5th of July is right around the corner and then knowingly, that I will be strict for a whole month , Then I would eat some more .... Bad idea well the damage is done I am up 4 lbs with the splurge and ugh and today like I promised myself I went right back on plan Breakfast : was an egg white omelet , some espresso , water with lemon and vitamins and supplements .... I will be all turkey , tuna, and chicken and egg whites and water a whole month .... no - no low calorie , sugar free this or that and no diet soda .... I am keeping it perfectly strict .... I will add seasonings to my meats and eggs that I know did not hinder my weight loss in the past .... And btw I really will miss those Crystal lite Appletinis with vodka they were amazing !!!! ![]() |

ok. i'm staying on course. today was eggs, chicken, low fat cheese and a large soy protein shake. i know that soy protein is not all the list-but i am at goal and maintaining, it also makes me feel great (but that is just me, I know some have issues with soy and the thyroid). soy sometimes makes me feel a little bloaty, but it goes away rather quickly or by morning.
so many great posts here. everyone is so positive and doing the work required to reach the goal. that's what it's about. showing up and working the plan. and stillmans IS the very best plan I have ever found. angelstill: wishing you lots of luck this month! bratty: the heat is hard on me as well. i usually take a couple showers each day when the weather is too hot. keeps me from swelling up, water seems to be anti inflammatory for me. I have certain allergies and the heat can aggravate them. |
